maxwell control load cells consist of a special design structure to get extreme linearity and good repeatability under all loading condition when installed as per the instructions given. Sensing elements of load cells are of strain gauge type configured to form a 4-arm whetstone bridge. Two opposite arms of whetstone bridge are energized with dual power supply of 10 vdc source from the associated controls. Under no-load, the bridge is near zero mv. When force is subjected in the direction of sensing plane, the bridge is subjected to imbalance proportional to the extent of loading.
