Cementitious Coating is cement based, single component, polymer modified, flexible, elastomeric, waterproof coating - for concrete and masonry surfaces. has very high water impermeability against hydrostatic pressure withstanding capacity. It is available as a dry powder, and is to be mixed with water.

Application:

• Clean the surface thoroughly by washing it with clean potable water to ensure dust particles are removed, so that no dust remains on the surface.
• All surface cracks should be filled up with crack fill powder.
• It is very important that material is mixed with water, properly and thoroughly before use. It is advisable to use a mechanical stirrer, for uniform and thorough mixing.
• The water used for mixing should be 25-30% of the weight of the powder.
• It can be applied to the surface manually by brush. After application of the 1st coat, a minimum gap of 4-6 hours must be maintained before the subsequent coat. The second coat must be applied perpendicular to the first coat.

Application:

• Surface for treatment must be thoroughly cleaned of all laitance, loose material, oil, grease, etc. by mechanical means such as wire brushing
• All surface cracks up to 5 mm width should be filled up with crack fill powder.
• Prime the surface with diluted material with potable water by volume in 1:1 ratio.
• Apply two neat coats without dilution by brush or roller at a time interval of 5-6 hours.

Function

• Coating has dual effects. Firstly, it reflects more than 75% of sun rays thereby heating of roof surface reduces remarkably. Secondly, transfer of heat from roof surface is blocked due presence of ceramic micro sphere. When it is applied on exterior side walls and roof it reduces energy cost approximately 15-20%.

Crystalline technology improves the durability and performance of concrete structures, lowering their maintenance cost and extending their lifespan by protecting them against the effect of aggressive chemicals. These high performance qualities result from the ways in which the crystalline technology works, when used with concrete. Crystalline waterproofing technology improves the waterproofing and durability of concrete by filling and plugging pores, capillaries, micro-cracks, and other voids with a non-soluble, highly resistant crystalline formation. The waterproofing effect is based on two simple reactions, one chemical and one physical. Concrete is chemical in nature. When a cement particle hydrates, the reaction between water and the cement causes it to become a hard, solid mass. The reaction also generates chemical by-products that lie dormant in the concrete. Crystalline waterproofing adds another set of chemicals to the mixture. When these two chemical groups, the by products of cement hydration and the crystalline chemicals, are brought together in the presence of moisture, a chemical reaction occurs. The end product of this reaction is a non soluble crystalline structure. This crystalline structure can only occur where moisture is present, and thus will form in the pores, capillary tracts, and shrinkage cracks in concrete. Wherever water goes, crystalline waterproofing will form filling the pore, voids and cracks.

Crystalline Admixture is a hydrophilic crystalline admixture used to create permanently waterproof concrete.Crystalline Admixture lowers the permeability of concrete, and is used in place of surface applied waterproofing membranes. By stopping the transmission of water through concrete, Crystalline Admixture adds durability and longevity to concrete by protecting it against chemical attack and corrosion of reinforcing steel.crystalline admixture offers a waterproofing solution by turning concrete into a water barrier. When combined with water, the chemicals react to form millions of needle-like crystals within the concrete. These crystals grow and fill the capillary pores and micro-cracks, blocking the passage of water. If minor cracks form in the future and water enters, the chemicals reactivate to form new additional crystals to block the water.
