PVC water stops are for use in concrete joints subjected to hydrostatic pressures. After being embedded in concrete, PVC water stops fill up the joints to form a continuous watertight diaphragm that prevents the passage of fluid. The water stop must be designed and installed properly to accommodate joint expansions, contraction and lateral & transverse movements. In addition to these consideration the water stop must be compatible with the concrete system and the liquids and chemicals to be contained or controlled. Maruti maintains its position of industry leadership by responding to the specific needs of our customer.
<b>Installation :</b>Most popular way of the placement of the water stop seal is tied to the steel frame works or small eyelet by means of small wires, certain metal clamps made to grip the water stop seal to keep it in proper position.

Grouting tube is specially designed flexible solid PVC Nitrile Blend (thermoplastic Rubber) covered by sponge strip strengthened by Nylon Braiding which is installed in concrete joints to waterproof and seal any crack or voids in the joint area to eliminate the possibilities of leakage in future. Grouting hose seals joints watertight and offer a complete maintenance programme of leakage appears in the future. If water test performed and voids in the joint are indicated, the voids should be filled with all type of injecting material micro fine cements or cement slurry. These injecting materials are highly compatible with concrete. Installation : Concrete surface where reinjectable hoses are to be installed are to be cleandry, smooth and free from dirt. Grouting tube must be located at as close as possible as centre line of wall or slab, with only the vent ends crossing the grouting tube. Initial injection pressure should be approximately 70-160psi. Once the injection material has filled the joint area and is to 550-560psi. Maintain this pressure for 3-5 minutes, allowing for the injection material to thoroughly penetrate the weak area. Piston type of pumps shall be used with hydrophilic resin injections.

As efficient bearing plates for pre-cast, pre-stressed concrete or steel beams in bridges and buildings. Neoprene pad-plain and laminated-manufactured by Maruti permits a smooth and uniform transfer of load from the beam to the substructure and allows beam rotation at the bearing due to deflection of the beam under load. They further allow lateral and longitudinal movement of the beam caused by thermal forces. Neoprene pads have no movable parts and thermal expansion and contractions are observed by the pads enable to give and take in shear. There is no solid motion between pad and beam or between pad and abutment.
