Construction & WorkingIt is on equipment operated hydraulically or mechanically for lifting and tipping FBD Bowl loaded with dried granules. Content of the Bowl is transferred smoothly to granulating equipment and through it to a BIN or on IPC container. It provides completely dust free operation and eliminates tedious scooping or manual handling. The process consists of bringing the FBD Bowl beneath the Tipper. The inverted cone of the Tipper is lowered so that the brim flange of the bowl touches the brim flange of the inverted cone. Both ore then clamped together with quick fixing clamps. The whole assembly is raised   hydraulically to the required height and then rotated mechanically to 180 degree on Ms Axis and lowered to a suitable height to align with the receiving container / equipment. The discharge point cone is fitted with an Iris / Butterfly valve by operating which the contents are discharged to Multi Mill or a sifter cum Multi Mill as per the process requirement. The flanged cone and the valve are of S.S.316 /304 malarial, as required. The bottom and the complete drives are covered with highly polished S.S.304 sheets to impart a cGMP finish.

The Multi Mill works on the principle of variable force swing hammer blades. The Multi Mill controls size reduction with its knife and impact edges that are rotating with a carefully selected screen.

Working Flow path of material in vertical rotor machine is streamlined. During comminution, material entering the chamber travels to the periphery and passes through the screen tangentially and radially avoiding chocking and temperature rise.

cGMP : Rapid is designed to achieve all the requirements of cGMP –Curent Good Manufacturing Practices. The bowl and all the components are of highly polished stainless steel with smooth contours and is crevice less.

The Mixing Bowl :

• It is circular with a large diameter and flat base. The top portion of the bowl is conical in shape to assist mixing of cohesive powders.
• Constructed from SS 304/316.
• A large diameter tube surrounds the drive shaft where it enters the base of the bowl. The main drive, shaft seal is on the top of tube and thus well above the     normal powder level. The SHAT SEAL is further improved by AUTOMATIC AIR PURGE.
• The seal housing and drive shaft may be flushed with cleaning water, which is then drained away from the machine through built in drain tubes

Granulator :

• A high speed Granulator (chopper) is inserted horizontally through the wall of the bowl to assist blending of powder and to break the product to granules of     required size.
• The Granulator rotates at two speeds -1500/3000 RPM.
• The Granulator head is of highly polished stainless steel and is easily removable for cleaning.
• The Granulator shaft where it enters the bowl incorporates AIR PURGED SEAL.
• The motor is provided with a removable stainless steel shroud which covers it to meet cGMP norms.

Bottom Discharge Valve :

• It is provided on the bottom, operated by a S.S spindle connected to a pneumatic cylinder. In closed position, the gate is flushed with the contour of the     bowl.
• A cover with removable silicone rubber seal gives unrestricted access into the chute for easy cleaning.
• A safety lock in the form of a limit swith is provided at the discharge port to prevent the valve or the motors to start during the cleaning operation.
• The pneumatic cylinder is covered by a stainless steel shroud to meet cGMP standard.
