The interior surfaces of bulk vehicles must withstand everyday wear, fulfil technical safety specifications and also meet the passengers needs for comfort and well-being.

The demands made on exterior railway vehicle coatings are clearly different from those made on paints for the interior. Apart from complying with optical requirements the paints must be resistant against extremely high mechanical stress and weather influences.

Next to the safety aspects, the aircrafts visual impression is important. Surfaces coated with ALEXIT-FST coatings are highly resistant to mechanical and chemical influences and easy to clean. Clean and neat surfaces enhance the passengers sense of security. Design effects specifically matched to the requirements of business and first class passengers create unique features which help boost the airlines image, thus leading to a turnover increase.
