Degassers We are offering our clients with an appropriately prepared range of degassers that is used for degassing of Aluminum molten metal. This degassers gives the utmost degassing effect. It is used for all types of Aluminum and its different types of alloys. The application rate for this type of degasser is also about 0.2 %. Instructions After attaining the required metal temperature, shut off the furnace to have better degassing effect at falling temperature. Degasser tablet is to be slightly heated before use after removing the wrapper precaution is to be taken to avoid exposure of tablet to the atmosphere as it may pick up the moisture. Push the dross a little aside and plunge the recommended quantity of Daga Degasser using a preheated perforated bell plunger to the bottom of the melt. As soon as the bubbling stops remove the plunger after rabbling & skim off the dross. Advantages The use of Degasser is quite simple it does not require any special tool as equipment. It removes hydrogen gas, oxides and other impurities from the melt which results in superior finishing of the metal and avoids pinholes in the castings. Packing Daga Degasser are available in the shape of 50 Gms. & 250 Gms compact tablet form. The tablets are packed in 20 kgs & 40 kgs Box that is solid enough to withstand shakes and jolts of transportation.

More About Information of Degasser Tablets : Aluminium & its alloys are susceptible in absorbing gas even when the bestcontrolled melting processes are performed. There are many factors which cause absorption of Hydrogen gas like water vapour from atmosphere, damp scrap, damp tools, prolonged holding of metals etc. During the process of casting these unwanted gases release suddenly in the form of bubbles, which are trapped in the metal, and finally the development of pinhole porosity in the cast product occur. It is therefore necessary to remove the unwanted gas from the melt prior to pouring.

DAGA DEGASSERS SP-II (Red) : Are formulated to remove hydrogen gas, oxides and other impurities from the melt which results in superior finishing of the metal and avoids pinholes in the castings It is used for all types of Aluminum and its different types of alloys. Instructions

• Before Using METAFILL SP-I, the EBT should be totally cleaned. The slag pieces if any should be particularly removed from the EBT & it should be cleaned preferably with oxygen.
• METAFILL SP -I should be filled in pyramid fashion, or in dome shape.
• After theEBT is filled with METAFILL SP-I, the Gunning material which comes over there should also be cleaned.
• When the hot metal is charged from the back, the METAFILL SP – I gives best of Results.
• The Tapping Temperature also plays an important role for success of  the product.

PackingThe material of the grain size of 03 – 06 mm with special uniform Graphite coating is packed in 25 / 50 kgs. HDPE woven sack .
