We procure natural leather from villagers who receive the goat skin as a by-product for the meat consumption market in that area. The raw animal leather is processed in villages of Western Rajasthan as Kutir Udyog. We believe in enriching the lives of countless skilled artisans, No chemical is used either in cleaning, processing, finishing or polishing of the product. All leather is pulled with edible vegetable oil. Therefore, all products are eco-friendly and bio-degradable. This process of vegetable oil tanning is a bit more time consuming but we take pride in not polluting the environment. Unfortunately, leather industry worldwide is a serious threat to the environment. But we stick to eco-friendly ways and staying away from harmful chemicals. We get manufactured these elegant handmade items from local artisans spread across all corners of Rajasthan. The product is not “perfect” as compared to factory made stuff. To maintain the natural oil in the leather and to keep it soft and supple, we suggest to apply a good leather conditioner periodically to maintain the finish.
