Manufacturer / Exporter / Supplier / Retailer Of Chrome Pigments, Antimonial Lead, Litharge Pigment, Zinc Tetroxy Chromate
This is Basic Zinc Chromate pigment free from alkali metals intended for use mainly as anticorrosive pigment for its rust-inhibiting properties in generally in etch primers
Litharge, PbO, exists in a reddish alpha form up to 489 0C; it then transforms to a yellow beta form (massicot), which is stable at high temperatures. Lead oxides are produced industrially by thermal processes in which lead is directly oxidized with air. In the ball mill process, metallic lead balls are tumbled in air to produce a “leady” oxide, which typically contains 20 – 35% free lead. The Barton pot process oxidizes droplets of molten lead at ca. 430 0C to produce either litharge or leady litharge. We have manufacturing plant based on both the above mentioned processes to manufacture litharge.
The most common and important metal alloyed with lead is antimony. Antimonial lead alloys usually contain from 1 to 6 percent antimony. Other components usually include tin, iron, copper, zinc, silver, arsenic, or traces of nickel. Because it has improved hardness and strength, antimonial lead has traditionally been known simply as hard lead Applications Antimonial lead is used: as grids, ports and connectors for lead-acid batteries to produce lead shots (ammunition). For cable sheathing As anodes in electrowinning and metal-processing processes.
