Using On Load Tap Changers The OLTC’s select taps on regulating winding on the furnace transformer A separate auto transformer is provided and the output tap is selected by OLTC. In the auto transformer control there are two construction variants : 1. All in one tank 2. Furnace in one and auto + OLTC in other Manufacturing Range Both single phase and three phase versions. With increasing importance of safety and environmental aspect in modernized and compact commercial applications, Dry type transformer demand is increasing. There is no oil used in the Dry type transformers. A special type of fire resistant insulation is used to reduce the fire risk considerably. Major application areas -- Mining, hotels, high rise buildings, hospitals, malls, shipping.     Mahati has following two types of dry type transformers to offer : cast resin vacuum impregnated Mahati make dry type transformers are now in use for over five years. Range:- KVA rating : 100KVA to 5000KVA (36KV class).

 No Load losses minimized by using CRGO steel. The Core assembly of step lap construction has minimum losses. Core is tightly pressed and bound by glass reinforced resin tapes. Proper insulation is provided between clamping channels and the entire assembly is insulated from tank by insulating packing. Prime CRGO lamination is used. Cut and assembled to achieve a near perfect-circle core cross section, resulting in the efficient use of materials plus a lighter, more compact, high performance transformer Welding process produces deep penetration welds, virtually eliminating leakage from welded tank joints. Inside tank surfaces are sand blasted and painted with heat resistant paint. Transformer exterior coated to a minimum thickness of 3 mils; this coating has superior endurance characteristics. Detachable radiators with/without fansPressed and vacuum treated coils. Welding process produces deep penetration welds, virtually eliminating leakage from welded tank joints. Mains frequency These are used for melting of metal however recently the secondary supply of specified voltage is directly fed to the induction furnace coil.     Medium frequency The secondary is fed to a rectifier inverter combo which increase the frequency to medium frequency at designe d voltages which then is fed to the furnace. We make all desired types including special ones like the 12 pulse, 24 pulse versions. The various combination are : Single transformers with 2 LVs (star & delta) Two transformers in one tank to give 12 pulse output Four transformers in one tank to give 24 pulse output.   Range: Voltage : 3.3, 6.6, 11, 22, 33KV KVA : 250 KVA to 16000 KVA Inverter output - 6 pulse, 12 pulse and 24 pulse.
