Darjeeling White tea is made by drying the selected buds. The minimal processing results in a light liquor with excellent flavour. Significant quantities of flavour is present in the buds when compared to the other parts of the leaf which is what sets up Silver Needles a class apart. White tea fanning are also available which are suitable for tea bags. They are however made from two leaf and a bud unlike silver needles. |

Darjeeling Sencha is produced from the quality green tea clones which have less tannin content than the usual Darjeeling clones. Manufactured during the prime first and second flush period they are made from delicately plucked two leaves and a bud. They are proceesed by special green tea machinery. The leaves are polished and have a silky appearance. Unlike the regular green tea they hardly taste bitter and have a nice pleasing green tea pine flavour.
