TUBE MAGNETS FOR PIPELINE

"MSPL" Tube Magnets have been specially developed for thorough removal of ferrous metals from materials in granular and powder form during transport through pipeline systems. These magnet systems are built into a housing, which is fitted with flanges so that, after mounting, they form a single unit with the pipeline system. Guide strips are fitted on the inside of the housing to ensure that the material to be purified is well distributed, and comes into good contact with the magnet core. The standard type has a M.S.Steel housing, although an alternative version with a stainless steel (S.S.-304/S.S.-316, S.S.-316-L) housing can be supplied to special order. Along with the standard Flanges dimensions, Tube Magnets can also be supplied with flanges to customers requirement.

PERMANENT MAGNETIC TYPE - FERRITE / STRONTIUM MAGNETIC
Permanent Tube Magnets are used where manual removal of ferrous metals is possible. The housing of these tube magnets provides to the magnet core for cleaning by means of a hermetically sealing door. In the smaller types, the magnet core is fitted to the door, making it easily accessible for cleaning. In the largest types, the magnet is mounted on a sliding carrier so that it can be partially withdrawn from the housing.
RARE EARTH / NDFEB TYPE
Rare Earth Tube Magnets are made from NdFeB Magnets, a high quality RE Permanent Magnetic Power source which develop magnetic fields up to 25 times stronger than conventional Ferrite / Strontium / Alnico units with no increase in size. The additional strengths improves the removal of weakly magnetic or very fine iron contaminants from a wide variety of powders, dry bulk materials as well as from slurries. This extreme high intensity Tube Magnets has applications wherever a high degree of product purity is required. Rare Earth Tube Magnets are effective in removing very fine ferrous particles locked particles and even strongly paramagnetic particles. Magnetic lines of flux are concentrated in each internal pole, creating an extremely high-gradient magnetic field.

PULLEY MAGNET

Magnetic Plates are manufactured in various sizes & strengths to meet with specific operation & plant conditions. Magnetic Plates are widely used for removing Tramp iron such as Bolts, Nuts, Bits of Wire, Nails and other casual Contamination from free flowing materials to protect against occasional damage to the plant caused by bits of iron.
Magnetic Plates can ideally be used to remove tramp iron from the moving material carried in chutes ducts, spouts or on conveyor belts, screens and feed trays. Whether the material is plastic or paper pulp, food or fertilizer, Oil seeds or gains the result is sure protection of processing machinery and iron free final products.

Suspension Magnet

Suspension Magnets are most useful for products carried by the Belt Conveyors.

Use of Suspension Magnets is recommended for products with low contamination. However if the frequency of the impurities is too high, then Over Band type Magnetic Separator is recommended. The Suspension Magnet requires frequent cleaning.

The main applications are for the processing of Bulk products such as Sugar, Coal, Minerals, Cereals, Coffee, Glass, Culets etc.

Channel Magnet

Magnetic Channel are used for the removal of iron from less strongly contaminated material from material like Rice, Flair, glaze, Slip (ceramic material), Glass, Mineral powder, Slurry, Chemical, Liquid material, Food products for any kind material processing machine or machine outlet.

Magnetic Channels are manufactured in various sizes & strength to meet the specific operation and plant condition. The Magnetic Channel can ideally be used to remove tramp iron from material carried in chute. It is very useful for chemical slurry.

Magnetic Humps are used where the flow of material is vertical. The material strikes directly on the first magnet changes direction and falls over the second magnet, ensuring clean outflow of material. POT MAGNETS DEFINITION
A pot magnet comprises a cylindrical permanent magnet assembled concentrically in a steel pot. The pot is an essential part of the magnetic circuit, providing the return path for th flux. The two poles are concentric, in the same plane, on an end face.

Pot magnets are among the most efficient of all magnet manufactures for gripping. (Other manufactures are preferable for lifting and attractive duties across gaps).

POT MAGNETS - GENERAL FEATURES
There is no stray flux as the magnetism is retained in a closed circuit.
The pot screens the magnet proper from demagnetising effects.
The pot is readily machinable.
Can be inserted into, or fitted to steel without adverse effect. (This cannot be done with unscreened
magnets).
The magnet proper has the most efficient of all magnet shapes - a plain cylinder, magnetised
lengthways.
Concentration of magnetic flux in the mild steel, possibly up to twice the density of the flux in the
permanent magnet. Grip varies as the square of the flux density, so this is specially advantageous.
Depth of field small compared with that of magnets with poles father apart (Such as horseshoes), but
grip in intimate contact vastly superior to that of non-composite magnets of similar weight.
CONTACT SURFACES
Pot magnets are primarily for gripping applications, for which they are ideal. For the most efficient gripping, contact should be intimate. Contact surfaces should be maintained in good condition.

Ground all over. Supplied either natural finish or painted.
MAGNETIC MATERIAL
Alnico V - one of the most efficient of all commercially available materials.
MAGNETIC STATE
Normally supplied magnetised, individually each with a keeper, or (with the exception of Magnetic Holdfasts) in rows with a keeper at the open end of each row.

Shallow Pot Magnet
