AAC or Autoclaved Aerated Concrete first came into being in 1923, thanks to the efforts of Swedish Inventor Johan Axel Eriksson. The AAC is a cost effective and environment--friendly substitute of red clay bricks as construction material for making walls. Information about the excellent properties of AAC, that includes excellent thermal and sound insulation properties along with light-weight yet high load bearing capacity has now spread across Europe and beyond, leading to the demand of AAC. These blocks and panels have low cost of construction and are energy-efficient manufacturing and installation.

MagicBond is a high strength adhesive for quick and firm laying of AAC blocks with thin joints. Magicbond is a factory mixed mortar made up of cement, graded sand and blended with polymers to impart high strength and water retention properties even when in thickness of 2-3 mm layers. AAC blocks being porous in nature tend to absorb moisture from mortar, thereby resulting into pinhole gaps in masonry. This leads to poor bond strength and tendency of mortar to let heat and water pass through. Polymers in Magicbond retain water in mortar. Thus, strengthening the bonds.
