  • Maximum 2440mm x 3600mm

Tempered glass starts life as float glass. Float glass, when shattered breaks into large pieces and can be harmful; it is therefore unsuitable for applications. In the tempering process, the surfaces of the glass are heated in a furnace nearly over 670C.
The hot glass is then cooled rapidly by a blast of air over a period of between 3 and 10 seconds. As a result, the surfaces shrink, and tensile stresses develop on the surfaces.

Tempered glass is 5 times stronger glass than normal glass. It provides greater thermal strength. It offers increased resistance to both sudden temperature changes and temperature differentials up to 250C (as against 40C of normal glass).
Tempered glass is difficult to break. However if it does break under high impact, only small fragments without any sharp edges are formed.

Air Insulated Glass

Two or more liters of glass are assembled and separated at a fixed interval using an aluminum spacer filled with a drying agent called desiccants to absorb the moisture within air space.
The surrounding edges of the double glazed units are then sealed first by a primary sealant and then by secondary sealant.

Insulated glass increases insulating properties of glass while substantially reducing condensation. This reduces load on air conditioning, reduces cost of HVAC, sound resistant and reduction in the greenhouse gases.

Fire Heat Strengthened Glass

  • Tinted glass Reflective glass
  • Clear Glass Low E glass with max emissivity k = 0.08
  • 5 mm 6 mm
  • 8 mm 10 mm
  • Minimum 300mm x 300mm
  • Maximum 2440mm x 3600mm

Heat Strengthened glass follows almost the same process as tempered glass, except that the annealed glass is heated to a slightly lower temperature of 620C and the volume and pressure of cooling process is less rapid.

BenefitsThe break pattern is large and the fragments tend to remain in the glazing. It is less prone to spontaneous breakage and provides better optics.
ApplicationsSpandrel and vision panels of curtain wall glass.

Acid Frosted Glass

Acid etching is a process that uses acid. Acid etched glass is produced by acid etching one side of float glass. Etched glass is created by cutting a design stencil that is made of an abrasive resistant material, such as vinyl or rubber. The resulting stencil is called a resist.
The resist is then secured onto the glass to be etched. A blaster gun, powered by an air compressor, is used to bombard the glass with the abrasive. Every part of the glass that is not covered by the resist will take the frosted effect while the parts protected by the resist will remain clear, thus producing a piece of etched glass.

BenefitsFrosted glass is a glass which roughens or obscures the clear surface of the glass. Frosted glass can enhance the beauty of windows, glass doors, or glass cabinets. This technique adds warmth and style to any dcor.
ApplicationsInterior, partitions, Shelves, Shower, bath enclosures, doors, windows, Glass walls and Kitchens.

Sand Frosted Glass

Sandblasting is essentially the process of blasting the surface of glass with grit which peppers the surface, giving it a milky white appearance.

BenefitsIt can be performed to any type of glass, laminated or double glazing. The sand frosted glass is a decorative glass used to obtain a faded or blurred vision through it.
ApplicationsDoors, interiors, bathrooms and enclosures.
