Flowerhorns cichlids are ornamental aquarium fish noted for their vivid colors and the distinctively shaped heads for which they are named. Their head protuberance, or kok. Like blood parrot cichlids, they are man-made hybrids that do not exist in the wild.

Discus are a variety of cichlid family originated in the Amazon river basin. They have a distinct shape and bright colours because of which they are popular as freshwater aquarium fish.

Mollies are usually more interesting to watch when they are kept in groups, since they will display a much broader range of natural behaviors when kept together. Mollies are popular in community aquariums, but you must keep an eye on them if you combine them with species that have long and flowing fins. Mollies are known to sometimes harass such species by nipping their fins.

Tetra is a variety of small freshwater fish originating from Africa, Central America and South America. They are preferred to be kept in group as their natural living is in a large group.

Scats are very popular fish for the brackish-water community tank. They are brassy-green in colour and covered with dark brown spots. Scats possess sharp spines in the dorsal, anal and pelvic fins. So care should be taken while handling them.

Loaches have a heightened sense of taste and smell as well as some very flexible body shapes. They will search out stray food wherever it falls. The Clown Loach is very good at snail control, quickly ridding the tank of any unwanted snails.
Some loaches are stay small but some such as the Clown Loach can grow to be over a foot in length and live for a very long time if kept properly.

Freshwater shrimps make great pets. Some shrimps like the Cherry Shrimp as hardy as many fish and offer a visually striking alternative to traditional fish tank. The small tank requirement make fresh water shrimp a great choice for offices, classrooms or living room. It is not recommended to house shrimp with other fish unless they are being used as a food source for the fish.

Catfish are a diverse group of ray-finned fish. They are named for their prominent barbels, which resemble a cat's whiskers. Some catfish are armour-plated types and there are also naked types, neither having scales.

Anemones are invertebrates which have a specialized foot to anchor to soft substrates, rocks or corals. They provide excellent water conditions. Their diet consist of shrimp or other meaty food.

Butterfly fishes look like smaller versions of angelfish, but unlike Angels, they lack preopercle spines at the gill covers. Butterfly fishes mostly range from 12 to 22 cm (4.7 to 8.7 in) in length. They are the brightly colored and strikingly patterned bodies of many species, bearing shades of black, white, blue, red, orange, and yellow. Other species are dull in colour.

Saltwater Tangs are hardy and are excellent algae eaters for reef. They are very attractive and have unique personalities.

Polyps are colonial corals, and most of them are extremely hardy, making them ideal candidates for the beginner reef aquarist. They are a colonial animal with multiple individual polyps attached to a piece of live rock or coral rubble. Their polyps have the ability to sting other animals and are semi-aggressive; therefore, they need to have space between their colony and any neighbors.

Blennies are a calm, bottom dwelling fish. They range from the brightly colored Canary Blenny to the serene looking Striped Blenny. They like to find a small place to hide in your tank.

Gobies are relatively small fish, usually reaching three inches in captivity. Goby fish species adjust well to aquarium life. A well-sealed lid is a requirement for keeping gobies, as they will jump out of an open aquarium.

Tubeworms are a variety of marine worms that lives in tubes. The worms form a tube made of a tough but flexible material which is coated with a layer of mud, sand or small shell fragments.
All worms have specialized structures called crowns, which are extended from the tubes to collect food particles and for gas exchange.

Barbs are a large family of freshwater fish and also they are a popular choice of hobbyist. They are schooling species and ideally kept in a group of 10 or more. Best Environment for them is a planted aquarium with subdued lighting and lot of hiding space.

Cichlids are one of the most colourful tropical fish species to be kept in a freshwater aquarium. They are very active and also become interactive with their owners.

Arowanas/ dragonfish are popular aquarium fish have special cultural significance in areas influenced by Chinese culture. It is a freshwater fish that has a long, narrow and flat body. The belly is a sharp ridge with large, thick scales.  The mouth is extremely wide. The arowana has many colors such as gold, red, and green. The arowana is often called “dragon fish” because of its enormous scales and long, whisker-like chin barbels.
