SALIENT FEATURES
  1. They are rugged and sturdy in construction .
  2. Body and bonnet casting have heavy metal section in excess of minimum requirement
  3. Streamlined contours to ensure that the pressure drop is minimum
  4. Close -fitting male and female joint retain gasket in position and accurately centers the working parts .
  5. Special alloy of trim is highly heat resistant and non-corrodible .
  6. Flat face of valve &seat lapped on flat surface lapping machine ensures better pressure tightness at fingertip operation and minimizes wear & tear of spindle &bonnet .
  7. The Extra - deep stuffing box together with the smooth ground spindle ensures fluid tightness and long packing life
  8. The gland is held in place by swinging hinge bolts which will not loosen in service
  9. A variety of end flange facing can be provided . Valve flanges can be drilled to different standards
INSPECTION:

Third party inspection by Lioyds, Bureau Veritas, ABS, UHDE, Bax Council, EIL and IBR etc. are being regularly Carried out against customer requirement

NOTES FOR GATE VALVE :
  1. The standerd Body /bonnet is material is of cast steel to ASTM A 216 Gr. WCB Body / Bonnet in Grades LCB /C-5 /WC-6/WC-9/CF-8/CF-8M/CF-3/CF-3M etc.Available to suit Requirements.Trim: 304/316/Stellite etc.
  2. To facilitate operation , all heavy duty valves have Yoke Sleeves fitted with Thrust ball Bearings. In class 150 and 300 lbs, they are provided from Nominal Diameter 14" and onwards.
  3. Pressure Sealed Bonnet Available in higher classes on Request .

Body :Robustly designed to withstand stringent duty condition, Smoothly configurated to reduce Turbulance.

Long and Accurate Guides :Optionally toleranced for free movement of wedge in flow path and retaining leak tightness even in fluctuating line condition.

SuperFinish Seating Faces :High accuracy and superfinish by lapping of body ring and wedge seat faces, guarantee zero leak and reduce operational torque.

Deep Stuffing Box :Facilitates extra number of gland packings and ensures pressure tightness and long packing life, can be repacked while valve is back seated.

Spindle-Wedge :T-SLOT is housed in the wedge in such a manner to improve transmission efficiency of torque from spindle to wedge and ensure leak tightness. the solid flexible wedges fitted in Gate Valves are Cast Steel having 13% Chrome Welded seat facings, machined with exterme accuracy and finaly ground and lapped to a mirror finish to secure no-leak condition and to minimize the risk of galling.

  4. Pressure sealed bonnet available in higher classes on Request.
