FERRETERRO pipe lifting clamps are made of high tensile steel and are ideal for horizontal lifting and transportation of steel pipes. Our pipe clamps are compact in shape and relatively light weight. Pipe clamps are available in following types: -

PIPE LIFTING CLAMPS WITH PEEL RESISTANT COATING

• These clamps are available with heavy duty peel resistant coating of PE material available in 2 models PLC-A type and heavy duty PLC-B type.
• Available in 5 ton, 10 ton & 20 ton pair capacity.
• Pipe clamps have Teflon pads which are easy to change when required.
• Also available without coating (enamel painted)

Aluminum Lined Pipe Lifting Clamp

• These pipe lifting clamps are available for horizontal lifting & transportation of steel & concrete pipes.
• Compact shape and relatively low self weight with a high lifting capacity. These are used in pairs. 
• Clamps have interchangeable aluminum inserts. Having unique wide mouth body available for extra clearance.
• Available up to 20 ton pair capacity.

TPH Pipe Lifting Clamp

• TPH-HD version is specially designed for extreme heavy duty lifting situations (eg. Loading & Un-loading Ships)
• TPH Clamps lifting clamps must always be used in pairs. Jaw opening available up to 70 mm. Working load limit (WLL) 1500 kg- 60000 kg per pair. TPH jaw is covered with a special high quality extreme high pressure resistant plastic. These are maintenance free clamps; plastic pressure resistant cover is easy to change.
• TPH-HD has special handle for easy working.  Compact & lightweight design and high lifting capacity.

• Ferreterro versatile jaws designed to mount on a wide range of tappered or flat beams. 
• Ferreterro Beam Clamps are made with high strength Alloy Steel. Each clamp is proof load tested 2 times of working load limit. Company name with logo (Ferreterro), working load limit (WLL) and jaw opening all are mentioned in the clamps. Individual serial number and test certificate of proof load is provided with the clamps. 
• Maintenance replacement parts are available. ISO 9001 certified. 

• Versatile jaws designed to mount on a wide range of tappered or flat beams.

NON MARRING VERTICAL PLATE LIFTING CLAMPS

• Non-marring clamps are designed for vertical lifting and transporting of plate material. This particular range of clamps has a large jaw capacity that enable it to be used on a multitude of applications.
• The main feature of Non marring plate clamps is the fact that it is Non-marking, this is achieved by a special material on the jaw. These plate clamps are service friendly, making them easy to exchange parts, which are ready available. Clamps repairs are available through the factory.

NON MARRING HORIZONTAL PLATE LIFTING CLAMPS

• Non-marring horizontal clamps are made with medium carbon steel of high strength, Extra hard material is used wherever required. Individual clamp is proof load tested with 2 times of safe working load limit. Non-marring plate clamps can be used to lift all structural steel plates including stainless steel, iron, and aluminium without marking or damaging the surface. Horizontal Non-marring plate lifting clamps are available with or without spring loaded.
• Available in 4, 5 & 6 ton pair wise capacities. Available jaw opening 0-120 mm for different sizes. 

DO’s & DON’TS

• Do clean the pad regularly, clean in water only.
• DO NOT use the clamps on plates with surface contamination (dirt, grease, scales etc)
• DO NOT use single Horizontal Non-Marring clamp always use in pair.
• Do inspect the clamp before each use. If pads are cut or can not be cleaned, take clamp out of service and replace pads.
• DO NOT use Vertical Non-marring clamps on smooth polished surfaces

FERRETERRO make Crocodile series Horizontal Plate Lifting Clamps are intended to be used in pairs, set of pairs or in tripod arrangement of lifting and transporting the steel plates in horizontal position. Our clamps are equipped with serrated gripping jaws made of special alloy steel material. These clamps can be used with all types of material in plate shape providing that plate can withstand the forces imposed on it. These clamps are suitable for single plate or bundle of plate providing the plates are of same width and size.

Rigging Practices

• Do not exceed rated load capacity (WLL).
• Inspect clamp before each use.
• Ensure that plate surface is free of scale, grease,  
• oil, paint, moisture, dirt and coating that might 
• impede the contact of jaw to the plate.
• Only loads within specified jaw capacity must be lifted.
• Insert load to full depth of throat opening
• Lift slowly and smoothly, do not jerk the load.
• Do not lift the load which has sagging.
• Position clamp to balance load.
• While transporting loads ensure that load does not swing.
• If more than two clamps are used, a spreader beam must be used. Do not use 4 leg or endless slings.
• Do not drop the clamps on ground.
• Reposition the clamp if plate tilts more than 5° to the side.
• Remove the clamps from service which are subjected  to Excess Stress, Improper use or Injudicious use. 

• Are made with M.S and high strength steel wherever required.
• Individual clamp is proof tested with 2 times the load of working load limit.
• Company name with logo (FERRETERRO), working load limit (WLL) and jaw opening all are mentioned in   the clamps.
• Individual serial no. and test certificate of proof load is provided with the clamps. 
• The spring-loaded tightening lock mechanism assures a positive initial clamping force.
