Description :

Libratherm offers Microcontroller based universal or single / two fixed input Bar Graph Process Indicator model BGI-144 with both Digital and Bar graph indications. In addition, the instrument provides analogue retransmission output of 4-20mA with built in 24VDC loop supply to power external loop transmitter. The process value is converted into equivalent 0 to 100% value and is displayed on the bar graph using 51 red LEDs for each input with 2% resolution per LED. Two to Four relay outputs are also provided which can be used for high and low alarms for single or dual input. Serial communication on RS485, 2 wire with MODBUS RTU protocol is also available with programmable Modbus ID in slave mode. BGI-144 is available in 144 x 72 x 120mm panel mounting enclosure with ABS bazel, polycarbonate graphics and metal enclosure. BGI-144 works on 90 to 250VAC supply.

Microprocessor Based Controller

Libratherm offers microprocessor based 4 set point on/off type controller (Model HTC-303). It is a single input, 4 set point controller. It accepts input from temperature sensors like thermocouple, RTD (Pt-100), Infrared thermocouple, or pyrometers generating Millivolt or milliampere signals or from the level/flow/pressure/pH transmitters in the form of (4-20)mA. The input signals from thermocouples and RTD(Pt-100) are software Linearized for 1oC/0.1oC indicating accuracy and other inputs are calibrated to the required scale. The controller provides outputs per set point in the form of 4 sets of potential free relay changeover contacts (5A/230VAC) or 4 sets of DC pulses to drive external solid state relays. (More number of set points can also be made available).
The controller HTC-303 has 4 programmable set points and each can be configured for either High Alarm or Low Alarm or Deviation Alarm or for Off state with programmable ON/OFF hysterisis through user friendly membrane key board. This feature allows user to use this controller for the varied application where event or control outputs are required to energize or de-energize various contactors or solenoid valves. Dual 4 digit Red / Green display allows simultaneous indications of the process value and the set value with LED indications on the front showing the ON/OFF status of the outputs.
It can also be used for other process control applications like pressure control, level control, flow control etc. accepting input signals from the respective transmitter or transducers.
The controller HTC-303 works on 230VAC or 110VAC and is protected against industrial RFI/EMI interference by a suitable filter and surge suppresser. It requires a standard DIN panel cut out of 92 x 92 mm.

    Calibrators

    Libratherm offers 4 and digit mV Calibrator, which is suitable for simulation and measurement of thermocouple signals. It can be used to calibrate or cross check the calibration of temperature instruments. Some model also soureces (4-20)mA current for calibrating temperature and other process transmitters. Even transmitter output can also be measured accurately using the built in loop supply of 24VDC. For calibrating RTD based instruments a separate fixed and variable value resistance source is available.

    DC Motor Controller

    Libratherm offers variable speed DC drive, which is rugged, compact and fully solid-state controller designed to drive either permanent magnet DC motors or excited field DC motors with the facility to vary the speed through a single turn potentiometer or through the external analog control signal of 0 5VDC, 0 10 VDC or 4 20 mA. Two different models are available, one is TDM-1000, which is a modular design with optically isolated control input and other is TDM-10 which is DIN panel mounting type with speed control using front panel potentiometer.
    The control signal and the potentiometer are optically isolated from the armature and field voltage. This feature is useful to directly control the motor speed through PLC, PID or similar other process controllers in a closed loop control system without the need of external signal isolator.
    The drive is designed using the solid state components and is available in the modular form to suit OEMs applications. The drive is also available in the stand alone control panel along with accessories like RPM / voltmeter, current meter, Start / stop and forward / reverse logic, indicating lamps, speed potentiometer etc.

    Digital Timers

    Micro processor based universal Timer / counter
    Libratherm offers model UTC-400 a general purpose microprocessor based real time digital universal timer / counter for industrial use. This Real Time Based timer / counter is designed to serve the special purpose application which ordinary timer or counter can not easily meet. Multiple timer and counting facility allows single unit to perform multiple functions.
    For timer functions - the On delay/OFF delay /Cyclic modes are user programmable with maximum 4 event outputs in the form of relay contacts. The real time clock is also available for the real time dependent event outputs. Any complex time based applications can be programmed through front panel key board.
    For counter functions the unit accepts inputs from the proximity sensor, photo sensor or a mechanical contact. Up or down counting with programmable multiple set point makes unit versatile for any counting applications.

    Libratherm offers simple Digital timers/counters for general purpose industrial use. The timers are accurate, rugged, reliable and field proven and based on solid state electronic design. The accurate time base ranging from 0.01 second to 1 hour is derived from high frequency quartz crystal oscillator. The delayed ON, delayed OFF and Cyclic mode of operations are available with the output of single or dual relay change over contacts rated for 5A @ 230VAC. The desired time can be preset using the front panel push button coded wheels. The elapsed or remaining time is displayed on 2 to 4 digit bright red or green LED display.
    The timers with stop watch function having front panel RESET and START/STOP switch is also available with and without PRESET facility. Battery back up features are also optionally available. The timer operates on 230 VAC or 110VAC or 24VDC supply. They are available in various sizes of 96 x 96 x 120, 96 x 48 x 130 , 48 x 96 x 130 or 72 x 72 x 110 mm.
    The counters are designed to accepts proximity sensor or photo sensor or mechanical contact to count objects or events. The desired count value can be set using the push button coded wheels and the relay output is available when the count value equals the set value. The RPM meter also accepts proximity sensor or photo sensor and accurately measures RPM in the range of 6 to 10000 RPM of any rotating objects.

    Relay Cards

    Libratherm offers four and eight channel Relay Cards. These cards are mainly designed for interfacing low level switching signal outputs coming from PLC, SCADA, DCS etc. to the external AC/DC operated switching devices (like contactors, solenoid valves, lamps, motors etc.in industrial automation control application).Various types of such cards are available viz. Single changeover contact card, (1 C/O) two changeover contact card (2 c/o) operating on 12 or 24 VDC supply. Libratherm also offers AC and DC solid state relay cards (using Triacs and Bipolar Transistors) for 4 or 8 channel controls. AC solid state relay card accepts DC controls signal of (0-5) or (0-10) VDC and can switch any single phase AC load rated at 5A @ 230VAC .     Temperature Scanner

    Libratherm offers Digital Temperature Scanners model MSI-8 for 8 channel, MODEL MSI-16 for 16 channel, Model LSI-16 for 16 channel with higher accuracy, Model MSI 8000 is Microprocessor based 16 channel and Model DATALOG 16 is microprocessor based DATA LOGGER. All these models are suitable for continuous monitoring of temperature or process variables at different locations. These instruments eliminates the need of number of individual temperature or process indicators and hence saves on cost and panel space. Each model offers different features and can be used as per the requirement in terms of number of inputs, accuracy and price.
    Model MSI-8 accepts 8 thermocouples or RTD (Pt-100) sensors. The temperature is displayed along with the respective channel number. The scan rate is adjustable from 2 to 20 seconds. The standard features include SCAN/HOLD facility and manual increment of the channel number using ADVANCE front panel membrane switch. MSI-8, can also be used to monitor other process parameters. MSI-16 offeres similar features but for more than 8 channels with larger display and enclosure. The Linearized models LSI-16 series are made available to monitor upto 16 channels, with +/1 oC or +/-0.1 oC indicating accuracy and larger display size.
    The above models accepts 1 to 16 inputs but of single type only and having same measuring range. To suit applications where monitoring of different process parameters having different measuring ranges are required, the microprocessor based models are more suitable.
    Microprocessor based Sixteen Channel Temperature Scanner /Data Logger model MSI-8000/DATALOG-16 are suitable for continuous monitoring of temperature/process variables at 16 different locations with the indicating accuracy of 1oC or 0.1 oC and for other process inputs the instruments offers absolute indicating accuracy. Each input has independent amplifier and hence each input can be of different type. For example, out of 16 channels, 8 can be thermocouples, 4 can be RTD (Pt-100) and rest 4 can be (4-20)mA.
    Wherever, in addition to only monitoring the process parameters, the data logging, memory storage, common or individual high and low alarm relay outputs, printer or pc interface is also desired, the model DATALOG-16 offers them all as per the requirement. For this facility the built in real time clock allows real time data logging, parallel printer port allows on line and off line printing of the data and RS-232/RS-485 port allows data logging on to the PC. Necessary data logging software operating on Windows is also offered for both graphical and tabular representation of the data of all the channels which are logged in.

    Temperature Transmitter

    Libratherm offers Miniature Head Mount Two wire Temperature Transmitter Model LTX-3000, which accepts RTD (Pt-100) or thermocouple as the input and provides output of (4-20) mA proportional to mV or resistance input. These transmitters are extensively used to minimize the effect of electrical noise and to eliminate the need of long runs of special compensating and three wire cables since ordinary pair of copper wires can easily be used without the drop or loss of input signal. Also, the current signal is less susceptible to industrial RFI/EMI noise compared to the voltage signal. These transmitters are linearized to the millivolt signal produced by a thermocouple or RTD sensors and not to the actual temperature.
    LTX-3000 require no separate power supply as it is powered by current drawn from the current loop itself and is thus intrinsically safe when used with appropriate barriers. It is very compact, economically priced and can be directly mounted inside standard heads of the thermocouple or RTD sensors. It can also be easily fitted inside the flame proof / weatherproof head or junction box. It is available for different thermocouples, RTD (Pt-100) duly calibrated for required temperature range with ZERO and SPAN adjustments for on site calibration. LTX-3000 is available in the standard size of 44 mm. OD and 26 mm. height (with the terminals). The Transmitter is also available in DIN Rail compatible modules.

    Voltage Scanner

    Libratherm Digital Voltage scanner model LVS-3, designed to monitor the incoming 3 phase AC supply voltage. It displays the AC voltage across 2 phases (like RY, YB & BR) sequentially at regular interval of time. LVS-3 also monitors one of the phase failures and phase reversal condition, under voltage and over voltage condition compared to the factory set values. The respective status is indicated on the front panel LEDs. In case of any of the abnormalities in the supply voltage a relay output is provided to indicate the false conditions. Under normal operation the relay will remain energized and under faulty condition the relay de-energizes. The relay contacts (rated for 5A @ 230VAC) can be used to trip the external load or contactor operating on 3-phase AC supply. LVS-3 is a useful instrument to protect the 3 phase loads like AC motors and it is widely used by the electrical panel builders. LVS-3 is rugged, reliable and field proven and is available in 14 DIN size of (96 x 96 x 120) mm.

    Libratherm offers model UTC-400 a general purpose microprocessor based real time digital universal timer / counter for industrial use. This Real Time Based timer / counter is designed to serve the special purpose application which ordinary timer or counter can not easily meet.     For timer functions - the On delay/OFF delay /Cyclic modes are user programmable with maximum 4 event outputs in the form of relay contacts.     Libratherm offers four and eight channel Relay Cards. These cards are mainly designed for interfacing low level switching signal outputs coming from PLC, SCADA, DCS etc. to the external AC/DC operated switching devices (like contactors, solenoid valves, lamps, motors etc.in industrial automation control application).Various types of such cards are available viz.     Temperature Scanner

    Libratherm offers Digital Temperature Scanners model MSI-8 for 8 channel, MODEL MSI-16 for 16 channel, Model LSI-16 for 16 channel with higher accuracy, Model MSI 8000 is Microprocessor based 16 channel and Model DATALOG 16 is microprocessor based DATA LOGGER. All these models are suitable for continuous monitoring of temperature or process variables at different locations. These instruments eliminates the need of number of individual temperature or process indicators and hence saves on cost and panel space. Each model offers different features and can be used as per the requirement in terms of number of inputs, accuracy and price.
    Model MSI-8 accepts 8 thermocouples or RTD (Pt-100) sensors. The temperature is displayed along with the respective channel number. The scan rate is adjustable from 2 to 20 seconds. The standard features include SCAN/HOLD facility and manual increment of the channel number using ADVANCE front panel membrane switch. MSI-8, can also be used to monitor other process parameters. MSI-16 offeres similar features but for more than 8 channels with larger display and enclosure. The Linearized models LSI-16 series are made available to monitor upto 16 channels, with +/1 oC or +/-0.1 oC indicating accuracy and larger display size.
    The above models accepts 1 to 16 inputs but of single type only and having same measuring range. To suit applications where monitoring of different process parameters having different measuring ranges are required, the microprocessor based models are more suitable.
    Microprocessor based Sixteen Channel Temperature Scanner /Data Logger model MSI-8000/DATALOG-16 are suitable for continuous monitoring of temperature/process variables at 16 different locations with the indicating accuracy of 1oC or 0.1 oC and for other process inputs the instruments offers absolute indicating accuracy. Each input has independent amplifier and hence each input can be of different type. For example, out of 16 channels, 8 can be thermocouples, 4 can be RTD (Pt-100) and rest 4 can be (4-20)mA.
    Wherever, in addition to only monitoring the process parameters, the data logging, memory storage, common or individual high and low alarm relay outputs, printer or pc interface is also desired, the model DATALOG-16 offers them all as per the requirement. For this facility the built in real time clock allows real time data logging, parallel printer port allows on line and off line printing of the data and RS-232/RS-485 port allows data logging on to the PC.     Temperature Transmitter

    Libratherm offers Miniature Head Mount Two wire Temperature Transmitter Model LTX-3000, which accepts RTD (Pt-100) or thermocouple as the input and provides output of (4-20) mA proportional to mV or resistance input. These transmitters are extensively used to minimize the effect of electrical noise and to eliminate the need of long runs of special compensating and three wire cables since ordinary pair of copper wires can easily be used without the drop or loss of input signal. Also, the current signal is less susceptible to industrial RFI/EMI noise compared to the voltage signal. These transmitters are linearized to the millivolt signal produced by a thermocouple or RTD sensors and not to the actual temperature.
    LTX-3000 require no separate power supply as it is powered by current drawn from the current loop itself and is thus intrinsically safe when used with appropriate barriers. It is very compact, economically priced and can be directly mounted inside standard heads of the thermocouple or RTD sensors. It can also be easily fitted inside the flame proof / weatherproof head or junction box. It is available for different thermocouples, RTD (Pt-100) duly calibrated for required temperature range with ZERO and SPAN adjustments for on site calibration. LTX-3000 is available in the standard size of 44 mm. OD and 26 mm. height (with the terminals). The Transmitter is also available in DIN Rail compatible modules.

    Voltage Scanner

    Libratherm Digital Voltage scanner model LVS-3, designed to monitor the incoming 3 phase AC supply voltage. It displays the AC voltage across 2 phases (like RY, YB & BR) sequentially at regular interval of time. LVS-3 also monitors one of the phase failures and phase reversal condition, under voltage and over voltage condition compared to the factory set values. The respective status is indicated on the front panel LEDs. In case of any of the abnormalities in the supply voltage a relay output is provided to indicate the false conditions. Under normal operation the relay will remain energized and under faulty condition the relay de-energizes. The relay contacts (rated for 5A @ 230VAC) can be used to trip the external load or contactor operating on 3-phase AC supply. LVS-3 is a useful instrument to protect the 3 phase loads like AC motors and it is widely used by the electrical panel builders.
