Humidity Controller

Libratherm offers various models of Digital and Microprocessor based Temperature and Humidity Indicator / controller. The model HTC-3000 and HTC-3003 are specially designed for Environmental test chambers, however, they can be used for any HVAC applications, where simultaneous and accurate control of desired temperature and humidity is required.
The controller accepts input signal from direct RH sensor for humidity control and / or RTD (Pt-100) sensor for temperature control. The controller gives three dc pulse outputs for controlling Air heater for dry heat, Boiler heater for humidity and Compressor for low temperature control. The 4th output is also optionally available for dehumidification. The control action is PID or On/Off for heaters and On/Off with built in programmable time delay for compressor. The compressor can be operated in Auto, On or Off mode as per control temperature requirement - above ambient, below ambient or below zero.
Each channel loop parameters like PID, Set and hysterisis can be programmed from the front keyboard. The additional facility of built in real time clock, RS-485 or RS-232 PC interface, data storage and printer output for 80-column dot matrix printer (CENTRONIX output - suitable for EPSON model LX-300+ or equivalent ) is also provided for analysis of temperature and humidity behaviour date and time wise.
The Controller has the built in non-volatile memory for the retention of the programmed values in case of power failure and on resumption of power the control will resume from the last value. To suit the control system, the special interlocking of the compressors and heaters are incorporated to enhance the performance and safety of the entire control system, which is achieved by switching off the compressor, if the air heater temperature exceeds certain preset value.
The model DTH-100 is a digital temperature/humidity indicator. The single and two set point on/off control outputs in the form of relay contacts are also available for simple control applications.

PH Controller

Libratherm offers PID Controller for ON LINE monitoring and controlling of pH or ORP or Conductivity value in the continuous process. The controller can be interfaced with the pH / ORP / Conductivity sensor to display the pH value in the range of 0.00 pH to 14.00 pH or ORP /Conductivity value in mV.
Since the signal given by the pH electrode varies with the temperature, automatic temperature compensation (ATC) facility is in-built in the instrument to read pH value more accurately without manual adjustments. This feature is available in model PD-5000.
The controller gives direct / reverse dc pulse PID output with settable dead band for the metering or dosing pump to control quantity of both acid and base levels in the chemical process, water purification or effluent treatment plants. The normal pulse rate is 100 pulses per minute. The dual direct / reverse 4 20 mA is also available for actuator accepting direct analog signals. The retransmission output of (4-20)mA proportional to pH/ORP level is also made available for the recording purpose. The controller is available in both standard and weather proof enclosure.
For interfacing low level signals from ORP/pH/Conductivity sensors, Libratherm offers signal convertor/isolator module for generating proportional (4-20)mA signal for long distance transmission of the measured value.

Analog Proportional Controller

Libratherm Time proportional series of Digital Temperature Controllers in various sizes are low cost, accurate, rugged and reliable instruments for general purpose but accurate and steady state temperature control applications. The range covers single and dual set point time proportional Controller with the facility to adjust Proportional Band, Reset and ON OFF cycle time using front panel potenetiometric controls. Digital PID controller with automatic Reset and Rate control (Integral and Derivative function) are also available for more precise control.

    Microcontroller Based PID Controller

    Libratherm offers two field proven models of Auto tune PID controllers. One is a microprocessor based PID-300 and other is microcontroller based model PID-723. PID controllers are superior compared to simple digital onoff and time proportional controls. They are widely used for applications requiring precise and very accurate temperature control of a heating or cooling systems which undergoes frequent disturbances.
    For temperature sensing, PID-300 accepts either thermocouple, RTD temperature sensors, or voltage or current signals. While PID-723 has facility to accept fixed or universal input, where type of input can be selected by the user depending upon requirement. In all 8 inputs are user selectable like 5 types of thermocouples J, K, R, S, B and RTD(Pt-100), (0-5)V and (4-20)mA. This facility allows user to use the same controller for varied temperature control applications, by merely changing the sensor type.
    For controlling purpose, both the models provides switching control outputs of relay contacts, or solid state relay driver or Triacs (for controlling switching devices such as contactors, solenoid valves or solid state relays), as well as analog control outputs of (4-20) mA or (0-5) V which can be used to control a Thyristorized power pack (for electrical heating system) or to control the position of a modulating motor valve ( for oil or gas fired heating system). Dual PID outputs for both direct and reverse actions are also available for applications requiring heating and cooling control.
    Both the models can also be used for any other process control applications such as - flow control, pressure control, level control, humidity control, pHORPConductivity control etc by accepting inputs from respective process transmitters or transducers. Libratherm also offers ready to use instrumentation control panel incorporating PID controller with other required panel accessories.
