DESCRIPTION :

In this type of valves, the check mechanism is the disk which is hinged. The pressure of the fluid lifts the disk and allows the flow. The disk returns to the seat with its own weight. This allows the valve for mounting in horizontal as well as vertical position with upward fluid flow.

Check valves are uni-directional valves which automatically open with forward flow and close against reverse flow. They are supplied to meet a wide variety of applications with the closing elements in the piston, swing type.

DESCRIPTION :

Wafer Type Check Valve has short face-to-face dimensions and low weight allows a simple space saving installation between the companion flanges. The valves are suitable to mounting between weld neck or slip on type companion flanges of different standards.

They are specially developed for applications where a low-pressure loss is essential. Opening and closing of the valve will take place at an extremely low-pressure difference over the valve disc. The eccentric disc shaft combination with the disc seat guarantees a positive shut off returning media. Wafer check valves are becoming the preferred type of check valve for most applications, due to their compact design.

Butterfly Valves

DESCRIPTION :

Abutterfly valveis avalvethat isolates or regulates the flowof a fluid. The closing mechanism is a diskthat rotates.Operation is similar to that of a ball valves, which allows for quick shut off.

A butterfly valve is from a family of valves calledquarter-turn valves. In operation, the valve is fully open or closed when the disc is rotated a quarter turn. The "butterfly" is a metaldisc mounted on a rod. When the valve is closed, the disc is turned so that it completely blocks off the passageway. When the valve is fully open, the disc is rotated a quarter turn so that it allows an almost unrestricted passage of the fluid.
