Single coil spring seal with rubber bellow mainly for application in waste water treatment plants, sewage, plain water, cooling tower pumps applications. The rubber bellow protects the shaftsleeve from fretting. The bellows are no subjected to any torsional stress. Torque transmission is through the spring and spring holder. Self aligning features accommodate abnormal shaft run out and primary sealing wear. The single coil spring will avoid effluent particles. Multi Spring Seal (LIE-701 & LIE/701b): Multi spring, pusher type seals in unbalanced and balanced configurations, ensures uniform loading of seal faces and can be mounted internal or external. Cartridge Mechanical Seal (LIE/706) : Cartridge seals are self-contained units consisting of a shaft sleeve, seal, and gland plate. The unit is fitted onto the pump shaft as a built assembly, so no further setting is required. It is available in single and double form, and the gland plate is often fitted with various tapings to provide for flushing, cooling water injection, and disaster control. It is cartridge construction so easy to install. Springs does not comes in contact with the seal liquid, avoiding jam and erode. Ptfe Bellow Seal Type (LIE/707): Multi spring externally mounted, non pusher designed, suitable for handling extremely highly corrosive liquids. The contact parts of the fluid is PTFE and GFT composite bellows which are hydraulically balanced. All components which come in contact with the liquid being sealed are made of chemically inert material. The seal has no dynamic elastomers and hence, no fretting damage on the shaft. The rotary face is designed to replace and remove the worn out faces in a very short time and stationary part is designed with two side lapping, So if one lapping face damage , second side lapping can be used. Springs are PTFE coated to withstand corrosion attack from strong acids and hazardous environment.
