Bluetooth Module

This is a class 2 Bluetooth module with SPP (Serial Port Profile) and can be configured as a master or slave. It has fully qualified Bluetooth V2.0+EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) with complete 2.4GHz radio transceiver and baseband. It uses CSR Bluecore 04 External single chip Bluetooth system with CMOS technology and with AFH (Adaptive Frequency Hopping Feature). Designed as drop-in replacement for wired serial connections, and can be used as transparent serial wireless connection.The module can be configured using the AT mode by keeping the button pressed on power-on or by using the ATmode pin on the module. The Capacitive Touch Keyboard uses the MPR121 IC from Freescale with 12 touch sensitive keyspads. This module talks via I2C interface which is quite easy to connect up and use. It is designed to work with 3.3V as well as 5V systems and has the level shifting logic included on board to support both 3.3V and 5V signals.The MPR121 IC detects the touch by measuring change in capacitance of touch pads.
