Our Products
Extension springs are commonly attached at both ends to other components and are used to create resistance against linier tensioning forces or pulling forces. These springs can be supplied with open hooks, closed eyes or various other forms of attachment on the ends and they can normally be made complete on a CNC spring forming machine. The weakest point of a Tension spring is where the body of the spring forms into the hook or eye; however there are several design methods that we can employ to resolve this issue, ensuring high quality Tension springs to meet your demands.
Our range of wire forms spring typically are parts made from round wire that are bent to have specific angles and lengths. Most springs have a helix or spiral shape consisting of a group of coils. We manufacture wire forms with a wire diameter of 0.008 all the way up to 0.500 (0.20 mm to 12.7 mm)
These springs are made using wire forms like :
- Cold Rolled Steel- Stainless Steel- Hard Drawn
Laxmi Springs warehouses the largest inventory of high-grade, straight, cylindrically-shaped compression springs in the world. A compression spring is an open-coil helical spring that offers resistance to a compressive force applied axially. They are usually coiled at a constant diameter, though they can be coiled in other needed forms such as conical, concave (barrel), convex (hourglass), or various combinations of these. Compression springs are used to resist force and/or store energy, depending upon the application. All Century compression springs are fabricated from round wire.
Applications :
Compression springs are used in a wide variety of applications like:
- Automotive Engines- Large Stamping Presses- Major Appliances- Lawn Mowers
