IRTHANE is completely resistant to water at room temperature and has excellent long term stability in water as temperature as high as 50° C. In exposures where water is present in a mixture or an emulsion with oil, the water resistance of IRTHANE is unchanged. This excellent hydrolytic stability is characteristic of the specific chemicals structure of the polymer. In this respect, IRTHANE is far superior to other urethane polymer which have different chemicals structures.
