Refractory Mortars are joining materials for laying refractory bricks. We offer a wide range of fireclay and high alumina mortars. These mortars are used as joining materials for various insulation and high alumina bricks. Mortars like Accoset 50, Mortar 70 are suitable for different types of insulation/fire bricks. Some of the mortars are supplied as two component system, where liquid binder is separately provided with powder material. Where water is used as liquid component, the amount of water used should be such that it results in trowelling Consistency.
FURACIN MORTAR - FURACIN is a furane resin based-silica filled, acid resistant cement. This is a two-component system consisting of Syrup and Powder. It is a fast setting cement having good resistance towards alkalies and solvents. This meets the requirement of IS 4832 Part II, ASTM-C-395-80.
COROPHEN MORTAR (CNSL) - COROPHEN is a two component modified Phenolic resin cement used for setting acid resistant brick / tile. The advantage of this product is that it is relatively inexpensive and can withstand both acidic and alkaline environments.
EPOXY BASED MORTAR - This is a polymer-based bonding paste used in agglomerate installation in the construction industry. The paste is a mixture of materials such as epoxy resins, solvent, binder, mineral fillers and some additives in certain measurements depending on the desired properties after curing. It is used as an adhesive and paste for structural repair. It can also be used to fill gaps, cracks and vents in driveways, patios and plazas. In setting tasks, it is used for tile installation where sealers are not required.
COROCEM MORTAR - COROCEM is an unsaturated Vinyl Ester resin based acid resistant cement used for both bedding and jointing and pointing of acid proof tiles / bricks. it combines the special advantage of rapid setting and hardening even under cold conditions, good mechanical strength and adhesion to tiles / bricks and stoneware.
VINYL ESTER MORTAR - Vinyl Ester Mortar is used in the construction of floors, sumps, trenches, tanks, vessels and bleach towers in chemical processing, food and beverage plants, dairies, laboratories, textile, steel and pulp & paper mills. Vinyl Ester has excellent resistance to oxidizing bleach solutions, mineral and organic acids, alkaline solutions and some organic solvents. When used with chemical resistant masonry units and the proper membrane Vinyl Ester will protect concrete and steel sub base from chemical attacks and physical abuse.
