Lafil industrial burners are pressure jet spill return fully automatic with stepless modulation & operate on oil, gas & dual fuels.

They have been designed & manufactured to high standards in order to meet the widest demands. The burners can be used on a wide range of equipment like boilers, hot oil heaters, hot air generators & furnace. High turndown ratios can be achieved without deterioration in combustion quality. Operation can be totally automatic and dual fuel burners can also be supplied for combined fuel burning. Lafil burners are designed for low excess & are totally compatible with on line oxygen trimming systems which regulate excess air thus ensuring good combustion at all loads. Lafil also supply oxygen trimming systems for all suppliers. Custom made burners for fuels like blast furnace gas & other lean gases can be supplied on request. Proper selection of burner is based upon factors such as equipment capacity, furnace pressures, type of load & design of furnace. The burners can be supplied with blower, control panel, oil pumps, oil preheaters, duplex filters & gas trains etc.

A steam boiler evaporates liquid water to form steam, or gaseous water; and requires frequent replenishment of boiler feedwater for the continuous production of steam required by most boiler applications. Water is a capable solvent, and will dissolve small amounts of solids from piping and containers including the boiler. Continuing evaporation of steam concentrates dissolved impurities until they reach levels potentially damaging to steam production within the boiler. Without blowdown, impurities would reach saturation levels and begin to precipitate within the boiler. Impurity concentrations are highest where steam is being produced near heat exchange surfaces. Precipitation would be expected to occur in the form of scale deposits on those heat exchange surfaces. Scale deposits thermally insulate heat exchange surfaces initially decreasing the rate of steam generation, and potentially causing boiler metals to reach failure temperatures.

n this kind of level gauge, the medium is contained within two glasses whose surfaces are both smooth. The medium level can be easily observed looking through the glasses. Thanks to its resistant glasses, this level gauge is particularly suited to be used with aggressive media or in the presence of steam, since protective mica shields can be installed between the medium and the glass.

In order to improve visibility under special operating conditions, an illuminator can be mounted on one side of the transparent level gauge.

The grooved glass, reflects light striking the gas/ steam. Steam thus appears, silver white.Light striking the liquid is totally refracted and absorbed, the liquid therefore appers dark.
