They are recommended for industrial and professional electronic equipments, where stability, low temperature coefficient, close tolerances and low surface temperatures are desired. They are available in wattage range from 50 Watt to 500 Watt ; In Ohmic Range from 1 Ohm to 20 K Ohm. 

NEUTRAL GROUNDING RESISTOR (NGR)  is used for the resistance grounding of Power Systems. Earthing through Resistor is the most common, economical and effective solution for impedance earthing. It is used, when the Neutral of the supply transformer is available and its own impedance is not enough to limit the fault current. Inserting a Resistor between the Neutral of the Generator/Transformer and Ground serves to limit the maximum Fault Current to a predetermined value. This value is low enough to prevent damaging Fault Currents to the generating, distribution and other associated equipments; yet high enough to operate fault clearing relays.

Load Bank Resistors are used to act as resistive loads for testing critical power supply sources .  Typical applications are : •   Testing batteries •   Periodic testing of standby generator sets •   Factory testing of generator sets •   UPS System testing •   Balancing diesel generator loads for cleaner air emissions. Load Banks having different steps of resistance, can be supplied alongwith associated control panels to switch on resistance values, as required , to test different capacity of generators / transformers with the same Load Bank.  AC & DC Load Banks are manufactured as per Customers' requirements in various ratings ranging from 1 KW to 3000 KW. Load Banks are designed for natural air cooled or for forced air cooling, depending on the wattage rating, to minimise the size and cost of the system. A Blower (Exhaust fan), mounted on a frame structure, is provided in the bottom of the Load Bank for upwards flow of air draught. The top of the Load Bank is provided with a wire mesh for a free air flow.

LAVT cubicles  are provided for voltage metering and generator protection. An LAVT (LASCPT) Panel houses Excitation Transformer, Potential Transformers and Lightening Arrestors & Surge Capacitors to safeguard the generator from current and voltage surges. Associated Bus Bars are provided with HT supports. Suitable arrangement with desired HV clearance is provided for termination of cable with undrilled removable gland plate or cut outs to suit Bus Duct connections for Top or Bottom terminal connections, as desired.
