Carbon Black Content Apparatus

The carbon black content in any product is determined using the carbon black content apparatus. It is used on products like polyethylene and other plastic products. The test conducted by this apparatus is meant to detect the amount of carbon present in the material in its free state. The instrument is widely used in plastic and PET industries.

Carbon black content apparatus is used to determine the percentage of carbon black content in polyethylene and other plastic materials. The test is performed on the materials in which carbon is presented in a free state. As per the standard test methods, the percentage of carbon content in samples is measured by calculating the difference in the mass of test sample before and after the test procedure takes place in the machine. The laboratory test machine is designed and manufactured keeping in mind certain test methods like IS2530, IS 4984 and ASTM D-1603 to determine the content of plastics.

The test procedure is very important and protective to perform. It is widely used to check the efficiency of polyethylene materials. It helps to determine the test specimen in a static atmosphere in accordance with its gravimetric difference. The glass of the lab instrument is designed and constructed using a highquality alloy to maintain the untimely fusions. The temperature of the machine is controlled by built-in electronic controllers to avoid practically for better temperature stability.

Carbon Black Content Apparatus is equipped with a tubular furnace made up of mild steel material. The temperature range of the furnace can be set maximum up to 1150 C. The relatively low wattage of the heater implicates the durability and long life of the furnace. Moreover, it is designed with a PID controller that drive the temperature in the allowable limits of +/-5.
The apparatus is incorporated with a nitrogen flow meter along with the set of glass parts. Apart from this, there are two flasks that firmly hold the solid ice. The machine is supplied along with the combustion boat and tubes which are made of quartz glass. The properties of quartz glass is much better than borosil glass that easily bear the temperature

Salt Spray Chamber Korrox III is a touch screen model. Salt Spray Chamber Korrox III comprises of a touch screen temperature control panel on the right side of the instrument which helps the user to set the desired temperature easily. The cabinet of the instrument is designed with double walled reinforced fiber plastic duly filled with glass wool insulation. This insulation protects the chamber from corrosive environment which is created in the chamber to test the specimen. The testing instrument is provided with some standard accessories like air purging, cyclic timer, regulator, gauges, time totaliser and racks to place the specimens.

The lab testing equipment complies with ASTM B117; IS: 6910; JIS Z2371; IS: 5528; DIN50021; ISO 3768.

Lab Hot Air Oven

A hot air oven is widely used lab testing instrument that is used for sterilization of tools and equipment used in different laboratories. It uses dry heat for the purpose of cleansing. The hot air oven works on electrical supply and is provided with a fan that ensures that there is a uniform flow of heat and hot air inside the chamber. Normally, the requirement of temperature for the best level of sterilization is 1600C/hr. The oven is provided with high-quality insulation with high-quality glass wool and is meant to satisfy all the industrial requirements.

With the utilization of forced air circulation, hot air ovens are used for assessment of the effect of the aging process of different properties of the products. The physical properties of the material being tested are checked before and after the aging process for best assessment.

The hot air oven is a chamber with double walls. The inner walls are made from heavy gauge stainless steel and the outer walls are fabricated from mild steel of high quality. In between the walls, glass wool insulation is provided for prevention of any heat loss to the environment.

The heaters are mounted on the ribs at the bottom, and the sides of the chamber. It is also provided with a circulation fan for uniform circulation along with a hot air blower which ensures constant maintenance of required temperature inside the chamber. A port is installed inside the chamber with its openings outside. This port is used for installing the sensor. The port is also used for changing of air. The control panel that is provided at the right side of the machine aids in visual monitoring of testing procedure. There are stainless steel trays provided with the machine that can be used for placing test specimen.
