These valves are manufactured by L&T and its wholly-owned subsidiary, L&T Valves Limited (Formerly Audco India Limited) which focuses on the requirements of the power sector. The facility is the only Indian valve plant authorised to offer valves with ASME ‘N’ and ‘NPT’ stamps. L&T forged steel valves conform to ASME B16.34 and the range comprises Pressure-seal Gate, Globe & Check Valves in ASME classes up to 4500. The straight pattern Gate, Globe & Check Valves are available in ASME classes up to 800 and the Y-pattern range in classes 1500 and 2500. Bellow-sealed and Cryogenic gate and globe valves are also offered.

The valves are offered in combinations of size, pressure class, material, end-connection, etc to suit customer requirements. Double Block & Bleed Plug Valve provides online-verifiable high-integrity positive shut-off, and is a safe and reliable replacement for the old two-valve system. The valves are approved by the global majors in power and oil & gas and have a reputation for reliable performance in critical services, across the globe. Pressure seal range is available in ASME classes from 600 to 4100. The valves conform to ANSI B16.34 and are offered with fully hard-faced seats in carbon steel, stainless steel and alloy steel. Pressure seal body-bonnet joint - Line pressure is used to create a tight body-bonnet seal. Higher the pressure, tighter the seal. Parallel-slide gate with disc-springs - Better sealing, lower operating torque, minimises possibility of disc jamming. Fully hard-faced trim - Disc, seat-rings and back-seat hard-faced for longer service life. Welded seat ring - Eliminates leakage path between seat ring and body, does not loosen up due to temperature fluctuations or vibration. Valves available in intermediate pressure classes (#3100, 3500 & 4100) to meet specific customer requirements. Option - Valves are offered with pillar yoke arrangement that provides easy access to gland packing. Y-type Configuration - Straight flow and lower pressure drop compared to conventional globe valves. Pressure seal body-bonnet joint - Line pressure is used to create a tight body-bonnet seal. Higher the pressure, tighter the seal, Integral body seat. Pressure seal body-cover joint - Line pressure is used to create a tight body-bonnet seal. Higher the pressure, tighter the seal.
