This is a Western Handloom Shoe, handcrafted for Kruti By Maahuaaby our panel shoe makerwith best in class accessories, stitching and pasting. Entire design and production has been done under active supervision of designerMaahuaa Roy. The fibers used in this shoe are Dongria pattern handloom weave from Odisha and Baiga grass handloom weave from Chambal in Madhya Pradesh.
Our Baiga partners are Manav Jeevan Vikas Samiti who have been working with tribals in Chambal for decades and this weave has been incubated by them.

Metal Dokra Craft is a rare clay cast technique kept alive by few craftsmen mostly tribal. Kruti fully supports revival of this rare craft form which traces its history to Mohenjodaro days. Maahuaa Roy incubates metal Dokra products with State awardee couple Sansari and Golpa and their entire team of artisans through the protective umbrella of our partner organisation Nyaya Sahayak Samiti.

Also know as Tarakasi, filigree from Odisha has history dating back to 500 years and gets identified by extremely intricate traditional designs made from thin silver wire.
