Juice clarification is the most important part at the beginning of the sugar process

KOSFLOC-27 is a high-quality flocculant. It has an extra high molecular weight anionic water-soluble powder polymer. These flocculants with an anionic nature expose their negative charge when in an aqueous solution.

KOSFLOC-27 When used in juice clarification, flocculants entrain the suspended solids in a network of fast-settling flocs, ensuring maximum brilliance of the clarified juice.

Recommended Doses-2-3 ppm

KOSFERMN G is a customized product for grain base feed stock distilleries. It converts non fermentable sugar into fermentable sugar. Also, eliminate bacterial growth. This is a thermostable enzyme, with excellent stability at low pH, which catalyzes the hydrolysis of alpha  1, 4 glycosidic linkages to quickly reduce the viscosity of gelatinized starch to yield dextrin and oligosaccharides under a variety of process

KOSAMYL G is Enzymes for saccharification of microalgal biomass such as cellulases, pectinases and amylases. Saccharification “to make into sugar” or the conversion, by enzymes, of starches into sugars and dextrins during the mashing process.

KOSPHOS is a highly charged cationic polymer which has been developed and formulated by Kosmic Global. It acts as an alternative to phosphoric acid 85%, effectively used in sugar factories with remarkable results. This product is excellent and can be used in Juice, syrup, melt & filtrate clarification systems. This product eliminates the use of highly acidic components i.e phosphoric acid in the process.

KOSFOAM -S & KOSFOAM-O defoamers or anti-foaming agent are chemical additives that reduce and hinder the formation of foam in industrial process liquids. Defoamers eliminate existing foam and anti-foamers prevent the formation of further foam.

Silicon base defoamer- Silicone antifoams are normally composed of hydrophobized silica that is finely dispersed within a silicone fluid. These antifoams are highly effective due to their general chemical inertness, potency even in low concentrations, and ability to spread over a foam film

• Higher cost but Cost Effective due to less consumption.
• The quick result on foam collapse
• Less quantity consumption

KOSCOL precipitants are non-toxic aqueous polymers with cationic properties. precipitants react with negatively charged colour compounds, neutralizing their charges, and thereby causing precipitation. The precipitated colour is subsequently removed during Juice/syrup/melt clarification.

Benefits:

For Clear Juice:10-12 ppm

It gives a 10-20% decolourization across clarification.

It can be used to reduce syrup sulphation with a corresponding reduction in inversion losses and therefore an increased sugar yield.

Also, reduce the process sulphur consumption as well as SO2 ppm in the final sugar.

To reduce recirculation of sugar in the crystallisation process to improve sugar colour resulting in improved sugar yield.

For Syrup/Melt Clarification: 80-100 ppm

• It gives a 10-12% decolourization in Syrup and 35-45% across the Melt clarification system.
• Being liquid form, it’s user-friendly.
• Due to high colour removal, improves turbidity and viscosity

KOSBRIT is formulated by intensive R & D by latest techniques on stable bleaching action physico-chemical chelation mechanism.

The basic theory of this chemical lies in stable bleaching action followed by checking the polymerization of colouring matters in sugar melt/massecuite. The natural colouring matters do not create colour problems in the system with the presence of this chemical. Its free a flow viscous liquid with 5.0-6.0 pH and a non-flammable solution. It is easily soluble in water.

For Melt/Massecuite: 3-5 Kg/100 MT massecuite

• To reduce the viscosity of sugar fluid/massecuite
• To provide sparkling white sugar crystal
• To reduce the recirculation of sugar material in the process

KOSFLOC-MS flocculants are advanced water-soluble polymers which have been developed and formulated specifically as aids to the rapid flotation of Sulphited Syrup scums /phosphatization at the clarification stage of Syrup clarification/Melt clarification double sulphitation /refinery processing.

In both processes, flocculants intend to float the impurities of Sulphited syrup/raw sugar melt and removed by scrappers. Finally, brilliant golden clear syrup/melt was obtained for further processing.

Recommended Doses-80-100 ppm
