Our Products
The KDS series of sensors from Komoline Aerospace Limited. are smart sensors that acquire, correct and process the measurements to engineering units before forwarding them to host systems. The KDS-091 is a multi-drop capable high-performance sensor for the measurement of quantum flux incident (Photosynthetically Active Component of Radiation).
The KDS-066 is a smart sensor for the measurement of radiation in the UV portion of the spectrum and is a omnidirectional sensor i.e. one which measures radiation from all directions. In an actual deployment this may include solar irradiance and components reaching the measurement point from other sources as well. The sensor exhibits near-total blindness to visible/IR and higher than UV frequency irradiance. The sensor is designed for continuous outdoor application. Very long cable lengths are supported in the RS485 (digital) and 4-20mA (analog) output formats.
The KDS-061 is a multi-drop capable high-performance sensor for the measurement of quantum of global UV flux incident. The sensor measures the full UV spectrum and is a global sensor i.e. one which measures radiation from all directions which includes solar irradiance and scattered components reaching the measurement point. The response is Erythema Action Spectrum (EAS) weighted.
The KDS-162 is a multi-drop capable high-performance sensor for the measurement of temperature of flat surfaces in any application. The surfaces may be metal, glass, plastic or even smooth and flat plaster etc. The sensing is by means of a high thermal agility and low specific heat capacity element engineered to quickly arrive at thermal equilibrium with the surface of contact.
The KDS-196 is a smart sensor for the measurement of continuous rotation in outdoor environment. The shaft encoder method of sensing is a time tested technique in hydrometrology and provides good accuracy with simplicity. This type of sensor has a long history of deployment.
The KDS-201 is a smart sensor for the measurement of continuous rotation in outdoor environment. The shaft encoder method of sensing is a time tested technique in hydrometeorology and provides good accuracy with simplicity. This type of sensor has a long history of deployment.
The KDS-111 is a smart sensor for the measurement of snow level. It employs a new proprietary statistical ensemble-sensing technology to measure snow level with class leading accuracy and stability. Specification
The KDS-231 is a smart sensor for the measurement of Carbon Dioxide level in air. The sensing method is Non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) absorption using solid state source and detector
Calibration Traceability Offered: IMD, NIST
The KDS-037 is a multi-drop capablehigh-performance smart sensor for themeasurement of soil temperature in automatic weather station environments, especially fordeployment in agriculture, green house and related applications and research. The sensors aredeveloped indigenously using the state of the art technology and built to exacting specifications. They offer stable, accurate and reliableperformance over long periods of time in the Indian conditions of environment.
The temperature sensing is by way of precision resistive sensing element of very good long-term stability. The sensor is microprocessor based and computes complex polynomials and uses proprietary algorithms developed for accurate reporting of the parameter value measured. The digital interface of the sensor makes sure the data reaches the destination system without any degradation along the way by interference or noise of any kind.
