In the next step, BOPP film - reverse printed to protect the print motif - is bonded to the tape fabric by means of a tie layer of finely extruded polypropylene. The result: an attractive, lightweight and break-proof packaging solution with unrivalled tear growth resistance and punch strength.

No leaking, no humidity intake
The pinch closure is tighter than a sewn closure - there are no stitches where the fat can leak through. It also makes the PINCH BOTTOM BAG tamper-proof and avoids undesired re-utilization of the bags. The OPP lamination provides a good humidity barrier - no polyethylene inner liner is required for sensitive goods.

EASY FILLING
Existing filling technology such as common open-mouth filling lines can easily be adapted to PINCH BOTTOM BAG. For closing, modified regular pinch bag closing lines are perfectly suitable.
