K.M CABLES & CONDUCTORS is manufacturing a new range of electrical wires known as PVC/FRLS/HR Insulated Single/Multi core cables, which provides additional safety and security. The wires bear the mark of IS: 694: 1990.
Each wire is fabricated using 99.97% pure, electrolytic grade, bright-annealed bare copper with more than 100% conductivity. Copper guarantees higher percentage of electrical energy saving which eventually helps in reducing the electricity bills. The conductor is made of multiple strands of finely drawn copper wires thereby offering greater flexibility, which makes these wires ideal for conduit wiring.
This FR PVC compound has a high oxygen and temperature index. The wires are wadded with a flame retardant (FR) PVC compound, which helps to control the spread of fire even at very high temperature. It also protects against electrical shock and short circuit. All wires are subjected to high voltage spark testing to ensure that no weak spots are there in the insulation.
LT PVC / XLPE Power Cables are available in different combinations with us, such as Aluminum, Copper Conductors, Round Solid conductor, stranded conductors, sector shaped conductors, taped inner sheath, extruded inner sheath, round steel and aluminum wire/flat galvanized steel strip armoured/ unarmoured, single/ double outer sheathed, etc. are available. We provide types of insulation that includes - PVC, HR PVC and XLPE. The inner & outer sheaths can be PVC, HR PVC, FRLS, HR-FRLS or FR depending upon the application and requirement of customers.

PTFE Wires, cables are tape wrapped wires having uniform insulation thickness around the central conductor compared to the wires insulated by extrusion process. K.M CABLES & CONDUCTORS Silicon insulated wires are made as per IS 9968 part 1 & 2, which specifies working voltage of 1100V, however special insulation thickness wires are also available with construction as per customer requirement. We also offer multicore Silicon insulated cables with various choices of outer sheath coatings as per customer requirements. For temperature - more than 220C, we offer silicon insulated conductor single & multicore with overall coating of Silicon rubber, this gives greater flexibility to the final cable while maintaining high temperature.

Overhead Cables & Wires Aerial Cables
Description:Polythene insulated self-supporting aerial cable in which suspension wire and the cable core are contained in a single polythene jacket of a figure of 8 sections.
Application:The cable is intended for use as a telephone distribution cable and would be suspended from posts using fixtures. These are normally used in rural/hilly areas.
PCM Cables
Description: Solid round copper conductor, polythene insulated jelly filled poly-Al moisture barrier bonded polythene sheathed underground telecom cable usable for 2 Mb/s digital System.
Application:This cable is intended as a transmission medium for carrying 2 Mb/s digital signal.
Optical Fibre Cables Central Loose Tube
Description:The cable is of Central Loose Tube (CLT) structure. Single Mode Optical Fibres are placed in a Loose Tube and jelly is applied during the extrusion process. Three FRPs are embedded in the sheathing.
Application:Trunk & Junction Network, T.V. Distribution, Data Links, Telemetry, Short span aerial application on existing open air alignment network.
Slotted Core
Description:Primary coated single mode optical fibre is placed in the helical slots of a central strength member extruded with polypropylene. The Cable core is polyethylene sheathed and Nylon jacketed to make it rodent resistant and termite proof.

Aerial Optical Fibre Cables
Description:The cable is of Central Loose Tube (CLT) structure. Single Mode Optical Fibres are placed in a Loose Tube and filled with jelly. Over the loose tube a thin layer of jelly is applied during the extrusion process. Three FRPs are embedded in the sheathing. To make it suitable for aerial Application Aramide Yarn is raped over the sheathing and then it is jacketed with Nylon.
