Concrete/Construction Vibrator

Immersion/Needle Type Vibrator:

They are used for compaction of freshly poured concrete in situ. Killicks needle vibrators are available powered by electric, petrol, petrol / kerosene and diesel motors, in sizes of 25, 40, and 60 mm, with larger sizes on request. Rubber shafts are available from 4 metres to 15 metres length.

Shutter/External Type Vibrator:

External vibrators are important components for concrete compaction. They are used for shuttering on site and in concrete works producing precast elements. Typical uses are concrete floors, pillars, columns, general formwork vibration both unitary and battery, walls, roofs and roof trusses, beams, girders, railway ties etc. Killicks external vibrators with 3000 vibrations per minute have a long service life and require low maintenance. They are also available in low voltage versions for added safety, along with their accompanying transformers.

Screed and Platform Type Vibrator:

For vibrating concrete in flat areas like slabs, pavements, roads, factory/warehouse floors, precast works etc. Available powered by petrol, diesel, and electric motors.Table Type Vibrator:

Hydraulic Jack Killick Wire Jacks

Equipment:

Single Pull Systems

  • Wire Type Hydraulic Jack

Killick wire Jacks are available in 7 ton capacity, with extension of 250 or 500 mm. They can be operated with a hand or electric pump. They are used for both pre and post stressing.

  • Strand Type Hydraulic Jack

Killick strand jacks are available in 2 models: -

    • Mk III back gripping strand jack with 18 ton capacity and 250 mm stroke
    • J-20 front gripping strand jack with 20 ton capacity and 190 mm stroke. This is also known as strand saver jack.

Multi-Pull systems

Killicks Multi Pull systems are comprised of 7T13 / 12T13 / 19T13 / 31T13 and 7T15 / 12T15 / 19T15 31T15 anchorage systems, with the matching jacks, pumps, and complete accessories.

Hydraulic Power Pack

Available in manually operated and power operated versions for powering hydraulic jacks and other hydraulic equipment.

Motorised Grout Agitator

For effective grouting, it is essential that the grout should be agitated continuously in a drum of required capacity. Agitation helps to obtain a colloidal grout before pumping. Killick manufactures agitators for this purpose with stainless steel impellers mounted on a stainless steel shaft, powered by a 1500 RPM, 2 H. P. motor.

Grout Pumps

These are used to grout cable ducts in pre-stressed concrete members and for repair and waterproofing of concrete. Killicks grout pumps are available in three models - Standard, High pressure and Electrically-operated.

Construction Elastomeric Bearings

Elastomeric Bearings:

Also known as Neoprene bearings, these are used as load bearing pads in bridges, aqueducts, chimneys, nuclear domes, jetties, water tanks, industrial structures, building and machine foundations etc.

POT CUM PTFE Bearings:

Sliding bearings are generally used where larger structural movements are anticipated or when the horizontal movement is accommodated with a minimum stress transmitted to the structure. There are a variety of sliding bearings that can be combined to give a complete support. The basic element of the sliding bearing is a PTFE sheet (Polytetrafluoroethylene) confined to the base material (which is generally mild steel) by the process of bonding. A polished stainless steel plate welded to the underside of the top plate sides over the PTFE sheet, such units in different combinations are commonly used in bridges, viaducts, and a wide variety of other structures.

Cement Grouting Pump

The KILLICKS Standard Grout Pumpis a simple but efficient low costequipment ideally suited forgrouting cable ducts in small andm e d i u m s i z e d p r e s t r e s s e dconcrete members. It is a handoperated stirrup pump of thediaphragm type in which grout is drawn up the suctionpipe past a simple non return ball valve, and on thepressure stroke is driven forward into the feed hosethrough 'a similar non-return valve. Site trials of groutingof ducts in normal beams have shown that the KILLICKSStandard Grout Pump can supply 130 liters of neatcement grout per hour of pumping time, which means it isa pump having a fairly large capacity. The maximumworking pressure is 3 Kgcm2 (40 psi).
