We are offering zinc aluminium 85/15 alloy wire. Scope: this specification covers zinc aluminium wire majorly used for metal spraying or for spray galvanizing. Application for this wire is found in many mechanical industries for prevention of rust. 2. General: zinc aluminium wire manufactured by drawing to wire from rod through rolling. 3. Chemical composition: a b zn : 85% zn : 95% al : 15% al : 05% 4. Impurities : si: 0.1 max pb: 0.003 max fe: 0.003 max cd: 0.003 max sn: 0.001 max cu: 0.002 max sb: 0.001 max 5. Physical properties : 1. % elongation : 120-200% 2. Tensile strength: 100-150 nmm2 2. Nominal dia: 3.15mm + 0.00mm, – 0.08mm or as per customer specification 6. Size: zincaluminium wire having size with tolerance of +0.00mm and – 0.08 mm. Commonly used size 3.17 mm. 7. Sampling plan: one sample per 1 ton lot or as per heat which ever is lower 8. Acceptance criteria : 1. Zincaluminium wire should be free form burr’s, cuts, kinks, bends, etc. 2. Zincaluminium wire should be of bright shiny in appearance. 3. Twit test: wire should not split. 9. Handling and storage: zincaluminium wire can be stored in coil form with plastic wrapping. It can also be packed in 100 kgs. Coils in m.s. Drum. 10. Shelf – life: zincaluminium wire has infinite shelf life
