The Dura-Flat is a compact emitter specially developed for agriculture. It employs a wide flow path cross-section and an extra-large filtration area which combine to create an effective, efficient agricultural dripper with excellent clogging resistance.
THE OMNIFLOW ADVANTAGE
The Dura-Flat emitter employs the Omniflow labyrinth which ensures consistent turbulence throughout the entire flow path, reducing settling of suspended solids in the water.
EXTRA LARGE FILTER
Dura-Flat has an oversized filtration area along the entire length of the dripper.
ASYMMETRY
The Dura-Flat is a no symmetrical dripper which allows a narrow design suitable for pipe 12mm and 16mm.
QUALITY
The Dura-Flat is injection moulded with 100% premium virgin polyethylene and additives for resistance to UV degradation and damage caused from commonly used chemicals and fertilizers.
A Hydro cyclone separates sand and other solid matter from water with very little head loss and 90% or better efficiency. There is no head loss build up and no clogging when the solids are separated. Hydro cyclones are easy to operate and maintain, and have no moving parts or screens.
Versatility in system configurations and ease of installation are some of its great advantages.
A Hydro cyclone uses a tangential injection flow process, enhancing the centrifugal forces and moving solid particles outwards. The dispersed particles move downward in a spiral path into an underflow chamber (sedimentation tank) while clean liquid moves upwards to the centre of the spiral, towards the top outlet.
A specially designed rubber insert protects the neck of the Hydro cyclone from erosion and increases separation efficiency. The Sedimentation Tank can be drained automatically with an automatic flushing kit (an electric valve, controller and small command filter). Automatic flushing will not interfere with the proper functioning of the Hydro cyclone. The Hydro cyclone has a 100 micron protective coating of extra durable polyester applied electrostatically and oven cured on a zinc-phosphate layer for maximal anti-corrosion protection.
This dripper is a low flow emitter specially developed for well water agriculture applications where there is a high degree of suspended solids. It employs an extra-large flow path cross-section, a very long Omniflow labyrinth, and an elevated filter, which combine to create an agricultural dripper with unparalleled clogging resistance.

LONG LABYRINTH
This dripper has a very long labyrinth with a large cross-sectional area. The long flow path ensures a gradual drop in pressure over the entire emitter. It also ensures that gradual and unavoidable sedimentation on the labyrinth surface will not clog the emitter.
ELEVATED FILTER
This dripper has an elevated filter which has several benefits. The elevated filter draws from water that is closer to the centre of the pipe where water is traveling at high velocity. The higher velocity helps keep the filter surface clean. Also the elevation of the filter entrance inhibits solids from settling on it between flow cycles, regardless of dripper orientation in the pipe.

COMPACT ROUND DRIPPER
This is compact emitter specially developed for agricultural applications. It employs a wide flow path cross-section and up to three separate filter entrances which combine to create an effective, efficient dripper with excellent clogging resistance.

EXTRA FILTRATION
It has up to three separate filters, which has several benefits. Filters are on opposing sides to ensure that at least one of the filters will not be in the undesirable downward position regardless of dripper orientation in the pipe. The filters are also on opposing ends of the dripper so that at least one filter is always near the upstream end of the emitter, which has anti-clogging benefits.
LARGE LABYRINTH
Its labyrinth has a large cross-sectional area which reduces the risk of clogging.
