Honey suckle is obtained from the honey suckle flowers native to india and pakistan. This natural attar has a deep sensuous fragrance which has a relaxing effect for the mind and body. It has a sweet, warm fragrance. Honeysuckle are arching shrubs or twining vines. There are about 180 species of honeysuckle and the diversity is maximum in china.this vine is a native of southeast asia but some species are found in north america and europe. Honeysuckle plants are grown well in warm and humid region where there is alkaline soil. It is one of the most difficult attars to prepare as the flowers are exceptionally delicate. Great care must be taken to maintain proper simmering temperature and pressure in order to keep the delicate petals suspended in water from burning. No mechines are used in the process. It is all hand-crafted traditionally which means it requires accuracy and total control on pressure and heat. The flowers are put into large copper vessels containing water and simmered over fire for several days. The vapour arises and passes through a bamboo pipe and settles in a clay pot and gets mixed with sandalwood oil. Oodh is a dark resinous heartwood evergreen tree native to Southeast Asia. When the parasites infect the tree trunk and roots, it produces a dark and aromatic resin. The resin embedded wood is commonly called gaharu, jinko, aloeswood, agarwood, or oud. Ood oil is extracted from the resinous wood of the Aquilaria tree. Goldmohar attar is extracted from one of the rare flowers found in india. Gold mohur flowers are found in many varieties and rows on a medium sized tree.
