KAVERI POLYURETHANE COMPONENTS are made out of Specially Formulated Polyurethane Compound in state of art manufacturing facility for processing the complete range of Polyurethane Products. Kaveri also makes Tailor made products to meet the new and demanding applications.
Advantages of Polyurethane ComponentsBulk material spillage has always been a perennial problem more particularly at the transfer points. Conventionally, rubber strips or cut-conveyor belting wave being used. Kaveri has developed cost effective superior designed skirt board sealing system with segmented Inter locked blocks for effective sealing.
Conventional rubber skirting fails to seal the material due to belt sag between two adjacent rollers under feed chute, whereas Kaveri Spill Stop could be assembled to follow the contouring of the running conveyor belts.
Kaveri Spill Stop Skirt Board Sealing System is a foolproof system, comprising of Interlocking Sealing Blocks, Back Plate & Clamping Plate. The system is designed to suit all conveyors. Sealing Blocks are made in Polymer / Rubber / Polyurethane. High Temperature Grade Blocks are also available
Kaveri Rubber Liners are best suited for direct, heavy impact and wear locations of lumpy materials. After long & extensive study of wear components coupled with field experience, Kaveri developed Rubber Liner as a better substitute than the conventional metallic liner.
Basic factors considered for optimum design
Kaveri have developed many proprietary formulation that enhance certain property of Rubber without impacting the basis property for some specific applications.
It is an established fact that excessive impact on belt surfaces due to material lump size and height of fall, damages the conveyor belt having conventional impact rollers with rubber rings/sleeves. This leads to extra maintenance effort, contributing to cost hike and reduced machine availability.
Kaveri Impact Pad replaces these conventional impact idlers at the Transfer Points with an added advantage of spillage control.
Impact pads are supplied with modular design frames consisting of Central Main Frame and Wing Supports with adjustment brackets to suit all types of belt conveyor troughing angles.
The Modular support structure has been designed for easy installation to withstand heavy impact and adjustment to suit any troughing angle of the conveyor.

in belt conveyors to counter the belt wandering i.e. Going off-center on either side, kaveri has engineered and developed a quick-acting automatic belt tracking roller system, to be mounted on the return side of belt conveyors.
kaveri recommends a minimum of 2 belt tracking rollers, one each near tail and head pulley for short conveyors of less than 50 mts. And for long conveyors additional rollers every 35 - 40 mtrs.
the tracking is achieved in the horizontal plane of the belt. As the belt starts to move off-center it will contact the tapered section of the tracker roller. The shift in weight and differing peripheral rotational speed between the tapered portion of the tracker roller w.r.t the center causes the roller to pivot in the opposite direction about its central point.
the extent to which the tracker roller will pivot will depend on the extent to which belt moves off center. Since the tracker roller is no longer perpendicular to the direction of the return belt travel, the skewed tracker roller automatically steers the belt back to its central position.
Kaveri Rotary Belt Scraper are engineered for belts handling Calcinated materials like Clinker, Coke, Alumina and other fine powdery substances which are susceptible to thermal cracks, resulting in fine powder getting stuck between the cracks, and falling throughout the length of the conveyor, due to flappring of the belt.
KAVERI Rotary Belt Scraper Consists of a special brush arrangement designed for fitment below the Head Pulley on the return side to enable the brushed off material to fall into the discharge chute. It consists of a Motorised Power Driven shaft supported on Anti-Friction bearing blocks, to which brush rolls are fitted. The direction of rotation is opposite to that of the return belt travel.
The V-Belt drive ensures that right peripheral speed of the Rotary Scraper can be achieved to get maximum cleaning efficiency.

Belt Scrapers are used in bulk material handling belt conveyors to avoid material carryback and reduce spillage. Clean belts help prevent material build up on snub pulley & return idlers, thereby reducing maintenance and downtime. Kaveri Belt Scrapers are a cost effective solution for efficient belt cleaning.
Our belt cleaners are Segmented type with individual rubberized elastomounts to take the shape of the belt contour. The scrapers are self adjusting type and have multi-tip which results in efficient belt cleaning.
Cleaning Tip contact angle is critical to ensure better cleaning efficiency and increased life of the cleaner tip and conveyor belt. Our Lead Edge design ensures that the cleaning angle is atleast 90 deg.

AIR BLASTER SYSTEM is used as flow promoting aid in bulk solids handling. Air Blaster have proven most successful when compared with other flow promoting devices, especially in high temperature zone.

Kaveri Air Blaster consists of an Air Vessel in which Compressed Air at 6-8 kg/cm2 pressure is stored. This full quantity of Air at this pressure is released in a fraction of second resulting in a blast, which when directed at the problematic critical zone through special nozzles, achieves the dislodging of bulk solid build-up and promotes flow
Compressed air is fed through an air train consisting of moisture separator, filter, regulator, lubricator to the Flow Control Unit (FCU). The micro processor based sequential logic controlled (FCU) operates the individual Air Blaster in cyclic pattern. Optionally the FCU can be connected to plant PLC for blasting automation.
Depending on the Equipment and location, Proper design, profile and material of Nozzle are selected. The Nozzles are mounted on the equipment so as to direct all the force of the blast to promote flow of bulk solids.
In most installations, the bin / Hopper need not be emptied.

Lagging is used not only to extend the shell life by providing a replaceable wearing surface but also to improve the friction between the belt and the pulley thus eliminates belt slippage
