Three Way (3 Way) Flange end L port divertor Ball Valves are designed and manufactured as per BS5351 ISO17292 standards. The materials of construction are ASTM A216 Gr WCB (CS), ASTM A351 Gr CF8 (SS304) and ASTM A351 Gr CF8M (SS316). Other materials such as CF3, CF3M can be supplied against specific requirement. Wall thickness is strictly as per ASTM B16.34. The Three Way (3 Way) Ball Valves can be provided with an optional pressure equalization line. Both 150 and 300 class valves are manufactured.
Kavaata Flanged End Ball Valves are made from Investment Castings, designed and manufactured as per ISO 17292 / API6D standards. The material of construction generally offered are ASTM A216 Gr WCB (CS), ASTM A351 Gr CF8 (SS304) and ASTM A351 Gr CF8M (SS316). Valves in other M.O.C. like CF3, CF3M and Super Duplex Stainless Steel can be supplied against specific requirement. The Flange design is as per ANSI B16.5 standards and face to face dimensions are as per ANSI B16.10 standards. Wall thickness is as per ASME B16.34.

Flanged end Fire safe ball valves are by far most commonly used Ball Valves in the industry. These Ball Valves are available in ASA Class 150# and are tested as per Fire safe test standards such as API 607 VI edition / ISO 10497:2010. Being 2 piece design, these valves are economical and less prone to leakages. These valves are offered in both Fire Safe and Non Fire Safe design.
Kavaata Screwed End Investment Cast Ball Valves are designed and manufactured as per BS5351/ ISO17292 or API 6D standards. The material of construction generally offered are ASTM A216 Gr WCB (CS), ASTM A351 Gr CF8 (SS304) and ASTM A351 Gr CF8M (SS316). Valves in other M.O.C. like CF3, CF3M can be supplied against specific requirement. Wall thickness is strictly as per ASTM B16.34
Screwed end 3 piece design ball valves are rated upto 600#. Socket Weld end valves are also offered upto 600# in 3 piece design in all MOCs.
Metal seated Ball Valves are preferred when the operating temperature is typically above 250 deg C, where the soft seats fail. The ball made of SS304 / SS316 is either coated with Nickel (by Electroless Nickel Plating) or hard faced with Stellite, depending upon the operating temperature and pressure. HVOF coating can be offered on balls and seats for temperature above 500 deg C. This is necessary to withstand continuous rubbing with hard metal seats. Stems are usually made of 17-4 PH Stainless Steel. Metal seated ball valves are designed to withstand both high temperature and pressure. The surfaces of both seat and ball are hand lapped to get the perfect mating to achieve Class V/ Class VI leakage. To compensate for thermal expansions, inconel springs are used.
VALVES CAN BE DESIGNED AND SUPPLIED AS PER CUSTOMER REQUIREMENTTEMPERATURE LIMIT UPTO 700 DEG CSIZES FROM TO 4LEAKAGE CLASS : CLASS V AND CLASS VI CAN ALSO BE SUPPLIEDLines operating under high pressure, typically around 300 bar, require high pressure ball valves for ON/OFF application. These valves are specially designed to withstand continuous use under these severe conditions. The Material of Construction is CS and Stainless Steel. The Ball Valves are made from bar stock with special seats. Low operating torque and excellent finish are some of the outstanding features of this valve.
Many industries encounter problem of residues in the ball valve. These residues contaminate the media and hinder the operation of the ball valve. In cases where the fluid is meant for human consumption, it becomes all the more dangerous as it may contaminate and make the fluid toxic. In cases where the media changes from time to time, such as color of paints, the residual paint contaminates and changes the color.
It is therefore necessary to eliminate the deposition of this residue material. The reason why this residue deposits itself in the ball valve is because of the design of the valve. During the half open position of the ball valve, a gap is created between the ball bore and the body. The fluid can easily creep into this gap and get itself deposited in this cavity of the body. To avoid the fluid getting into this cavity, the cavity has to be plugged. This can be done by extending the seats in such a manner that it is always in contact with the ball, thus avoiding the gap. This type of ball valve is known as Cavity Filler Ball Valve.
