The VisGuard measures the scattered light intensity of a sample drawn into the instrument. Filtered purge air is fed through the flow cell, thus enveloping the sample in a protective shroud of clean air. This effectively keeps the optics clean. Installations are either in the tunnel cavity/niches (in-situ) OR alternatively away from the area of measurement extracting the sample from the area through pipes via an external arrangement. An optional sample heater eliminates the influence of any mist effects.

he ColorPlus measures the colour/absorbance online at up to three different wavelengths in the UV and visible range, also combined. Turbidity can be compensated at the same time by selecting an appropriate wavelength. The modular design of the instrument enables to cover various applications by selecting the most suitable measuring cell. In many cases, a standard housing like e.g. Varivent is used. Alternatively, custom-specific flow cells in different materials and designs are available. For inspecting the instrument, checking units on the basis of reference filters can easily be inserted. Operation is done intuitive using the intelligent control system SICON via touch screen technology and colour display. Values, graphs, alarm and status messages can be presented. An internal data logger allows recalling and displaying measured data from the last 32 days. A variety of analogue and digital interfaces allows smooth system integration and control.

The TurbiGuard monitors medium to high turbidity, in process liquids using transmitted light (880 nm). A single version of the TurbiGuard featuring two measuring ranges can be widely used for monitoring medium to high turbidity. The TurbiGuard is factory calibrated with a true, linearized Formazine calibration. For simple applications and system integration the instrument configuration and communication can be easily done using the serial interface in combination with the existing outputs. For a more comfortable installation and operation the optional control unit SICON with touch screen technology and colour display can be connected.

The LabScat 2 monitors Turbidity in liquids, using a single light source to detect transmitted light and scattered light at 90 and 25. Sample ID and handling measuring data are performed using digital interfaces (USB, Ethernet with web browser).

The AquaScat measures turbidity of potable water according to IEC 27027 using 90+ scattered light detection in a free-falling water stream (models WTM, WTM A, HT). This contactless design eliminates window foiling and minimizes servicing to a minimum. Calibration check is performed with a calibration unit that is either mounted to perform the check or that is already built in (depending on variant).

The TurBiScat monitors turbidity in liquids using scattered light; optionally also the (beer) colour in EBC. The combination of Hastelloy and sapphire in a sealless design allows operating the unit in practically all process applications. Turbidity measurement is done with colour compensation. Window fouling is monitored, compensated and can be checked using an anti-fouling control. Calibration is easily done using a secondary reference standard.
