PVC Waterstop are an extruded profile used in water retainer construction as construction joints and in RCC construction used as expansion / contraction joint.
PVC Waterstop with hydrophilic strips can be used for critical waterproofing applications, for dual protection of a physical and swellable barrier to water. These profiles are suitable for medium / large movement construction joints and can be placed externally or centrally to act as expansion joints.
Kantaflex offers a range of copper water stops designed and manufactured from phosphorus non-arsenical copper alloy at 1.0mm thick to AS1566 or BS1172 international standards and specifications.
Kantaflex copper water stops are predominantly used in water retaining structures such as dams, which receive very high hydrostatic heads of water pressure against the joint. They provide a very high grade of performance and give resistance to certain types of chemical attack, due to their durability, integrity and strength.
Kanta System of G.I. Water Stop is used in Construction joint of RCC hydro structure to arrest the water seepage.
It is also used in expansion/contraction joint to take care of deflection or displacement due to thermal variation or settlement of foundation.
