Insulating Rubber Mats

Insulating Rubber Mats are especially designed to be used in front of switchboards and high voltage equipment. These long life mats are designed to protect operators from electrical shocks thus acting as a personal protection equipment. We offer a range of insulating mats for almost any application. We offer Insulating Rubber Mats for insulation up to 33, 000 volts (33 KV) meeting the requirements of IS 15652:2006. We offer Class A (3.3 KV), Class B (11 KV), and Class C (33 KV) insulating rubber mats as per following specifications.

Elastomeric Strip Seal Joint

  • Edge beam shall be placed in such a manner that the grooves are positioned properly.
  • Steel structure and main reinforcement shall be anchored with proper welding.
  • Alignment shall be checked for both steel structures, if required by using suitable device.
  • Recess shall be filled with high quality of the concrete not less than M 35 grade.
  • If any installation brackets were used, shall be removed after the concrete has cured.
  • Kantaflex elastomeric strip seal shall be cut into the required length and inserted between the beams by using the proper device and to be ensured that the bulb of the seal is getting into the steel grooves of the both edge beams.
  • When the recess concrete has become set, a sturdy ramp shall be placed over the joint to protect the exposed steel beams and the elastimeric seal from the traffic.
  • Without carriageway surfacing, expansion joint shall not be exposed to traffic loading.

Elastomeric Slab Seal Unit

  • Steel structure are to be inserted as shown above in either sides, little lowered position.
  • Top of the insert shall be at par with finished level of wearing coat to maintain the camber.
  • Steel structure and main reinforcement bar shall be anchored with proper welding.
  • If required spacer bar shalll be used for proper alignment of bolt and leveling of steel insert
  • Steel structure are to be packed with proper mixture of concrete as same as deck casting.
  • With proper alignment, manufacturer's recommended adhesive to be applied on the steel insertsand the elastomeric slab seal shall be placed over there.
  • Elastomeric seal shall be tightened with S.S. nut & bold and shall be locked with washer.
  • The cavity of the nut & bolt shall be filled with elastomeric plug, duly applying the adhesive recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Wearing coat shall be done in the spot, with adequate care to ensure a waterproof joint with the existing wearing coat.
  • Temperature to be checked before installing the elastomeric slab unit.

Compression Pavement Seal

  • Recess shall be prepared little lowered in a pre-determined position.
  • Either 'V' seal or 'E' seal shall be inserted in to the recess, duly applying the adhesive recommended by the manufacturer.
  • Wearing coat shall be done with proper care without disturbing the seal.

  • When the recess concrete has become set, a study ramp shall be placed over the joint to protect the exposed steel deams and the elastomeric seal from the traffic.

Concrete PVC Form Liners

KANTAFLEXTM PVC Form liners for Concrete are extruded profiles are used to enhance the concrete appearance. We provide a very wide range of concrete form liners for the construction industry. We offer these liners in width upto 300 mm and in continuous lengths. The customers are welcome to choose from our standard design / patterns or may suggest their own designs. With our own mold design and manufacturing facility, we offer an unmatched design flexibility and can produce any linear design.

Our Form Liners are designed to provide minimum leakage, easy and fast installation, thus saving on the material and labor costs. These factors coupled with the fact that our liners can be multi-used, makes our product an unmatched offering in its category to the construction industry.

Care should be taken not to expose these liners to intense heat or cold as the extreme temperatures can deteriorate form liners. Application of good quality release agent, after checking the suitability of the same, is also suggested for longer life and multiple use of the form liners. Form Liners must be cleaned after every use. It is also suggested that these liners must be removed as soon as possible, preferably within twenty four hours of concrete placement as the heat of concrete hydration may damage the liners or may even cause sticking. Prolonged contact with foam liners may also cause the concrete to darken. Ribbed Formwork needs particularly careful handling while stripping to avoid breaking the fins. Care should also be taken to strip at 90 angle. The extra care taken during the removal of form liners will help in saving the costs involved in repair of the concrete surface and / or replacement of damaged liners.

Most popular way of the placement of the water stop seal is tied to the steel frame works or small eyelet by means of small wires, certain metal clamps made to grip the water stop seal to keep it in proper position. Elastomeric Bridge Bearings
