Used for conveying lubricating oils. Transformer oils, vegetable oils (non edible), solvents having low aromatic content, Petrol high speed diesel oil and other petroleum products.

CONSTRUCTION

• Lining : Seamless tube of suitable synthetic rubber compound resistant to oil and low aromatic solvent
• Reinforcement: Reinforcement plies of rubberized woven fabric or braided textile reinforcement of natural or synthetic fibre or a combination thereof.
• Cover: cloth marked plain or fluted cover of suitable synthetic rubber compound resistant to oils and solvents having low aromatic content.
• Temperature Range : -15⁰ F to + 149 ⁰F
• Length: Mandrel built hoses up to 18.5 meters, Moulded hoses in long continuous length.

• Type 1 & 2 of the hose have multiple application for use with Compressors and other equipments, as a pneumatic tool for engineering purposes.
• Type 3 hose finds its use in deep excavation operations undertaken in mines, construction of hydel projects, dams & whatever drilling is required in hilly and rocky terrains.

Construction

• Lining : Uniform Seamless lining made from a blend of Natural & Synthetic rubber compound. In addition, for Type- 3 hoses lining is resistant oil mist.
• Reinforcement: Plies of Woven textile or braiding of high strength synthetic fibre.
• Cover : Smooth or cloth marked finish, abrasion and weather resistant natural rubber compound.
• Temperature Range : 31⁰ F to +158 ⁰F
• Length: Mandrel made hoses 18.5 meters maximum, Moulded braided hoses in continuous long lengths.

NOTE: The hoses above 25 mm size are mostly available in 18 meters length and made on mandrel

• Asbestos covered furnace coolant hose

Especially designed for service in Iron & Steel mills, glass works, electrical furnace and out fields where hose resistant to heat, radiation, open flame and splashes of hot metal is required.

• Heat resistant carbon free

Non- conductive (electrical) Hose used as an outer protective covering for power cables in steel mills, glass works etc, to avoid damage to cables, leakage of current due to exposure to open flame, splashes of hot metal or radiation. Available with or without asbestos cover.

• Cable coolant hose plain or with asbestos cover

Used for conveying power cable with a mix of oil as an additional protection from exposure to extremely high temperature radiation from steel furnace, open flame etx

CONSTRUCTION

• Lining: White or black, smooth non conductive a blend of natural and synthetic rubber compound.
• Reinforcement: Rubberized woven textile fabric natural or synthetic.
• Cover: Oil and heat and electrical resistant synthetic rubber compound with or without asbestos cover, capable to withstand temperature up to +500⁰ C (932 ⁰F)

Designed for heavy duty water suction and discharge service, where rugged yet flexible hose is required both for dewatering and delivery purposes during excavation of mines, project construction, deflooding operations and for handling sewerage, waste water and mud. Type of Hoses: Type -1 Hose with rough bore, Type -2 hose with smooth bore.

If the liquids are non- corrosive and do not carry solids in suspension, as in the case with muddy water, rough bore is used in other cases smooth bore is used:

CONSTRUCTION

• Lining: a blend of natural & synthetic rubber compound resistance to water and abrasion.
• Reinforcement:Natural or Synthetic fabric or a combination thereof with two helical GS wire (as per IS 280/78) embedded between the reinforcement plies. In case of rough bore, of the two helical wire reinforcements, first is internal and visible from inside and the second is embedded between layers of plies.
• Cover: Corrugated or plain cloth marked finish outer cover made from natural rubber compound resistant to abrasion and weather.
• End connection: Each hose length has soft plain ends on each side for clamping or built in nipples/ flanges on request.

High pressure flexible hose conveys sand or other abrasive materials engineered for sand/shot blasting purposes or Ordinance factories, steel furniture, manufacturing workshops, heavy engineering industries and so on.

• Lining : Extra thick seamless tube of natural rubber soft compound of high tensile strength, excellent abrasion resistant and free from any mineral filler.
• Reinforcement : Rubberized woven textile.
• Cover: Smooth, cloth marked finish, natural rubber compound resistant to weather and abrasion.
• Electrical bonding : If required by the purchaser, a copper wire comprising a number of strands is incorporated between the reinforcement plies to provide electrical continuity along the whole length of the hose.
