Klar Tanks are insulated using the latest Puf insulation technology. Puf insulation material is injected at high pressure in the space between the outer and inner shell to manufacture the Insulated tank. The insulation is 50 mm thick to ensure no heat transfer takes place between outside and the water present inside the tank. Both the shell as well as the top and bottom dish of the tank are insulated in order to achieve perfect insulation.

Infact, our insulation guarantees you a temperature rise or fall of not more than 1C in an entire day. Therefore, if water enters the tank at a temperature of 18C, the temperature of water inside the tank shall not rise beyond 19C no matter how hot the weather maybe outside.

All vessels contain a 2.5 mm thick lining of an inert silica compound called Quartz which gives the vessel an extremely high resistance against corrosion thereby ensuring a long life for the vessel.

 

Aquario range of S S Pressure Vessels is ideal for activated carbon, sand and resin filtration. The vessels are available with a choice of only Top Opening or both Top & Bottom opening for a higher flow rate. All vessels come with a standard inner threaded opening of 2.5” or 4.0” diameter according to the vessel size. Valves can be directly mounted on the opening of the vessel.

 

Hydro test is performed on each vessel at a maximum test pressure of 16 kg/cm2 to ensure zero leakage at high pressure. All vessels have an operating pressure of 14 kg/cm2.

All welds and edges are polished and smoothened to eliminate any product hold up.

The housings are tested for 400 PSI and 600 PSI pressure for 4 housing and 8 housing respectively. Housings are tested at three times the design pressure.

Specially manufactured Buna-N compound O ring seals are used to ensure zero leakage in the pressure tube. We provide Saddle and Clamp for fitment with the pressure tube.

According to World Health Organization Standards, potable water or water for other domestic purposes such as cooking is only meant to be stored in Stainless Steel containers or tanks exclusively. It is argued that traditionally used plastic containers or tanks leach chemicals into the water , thus rendering the water unsafe for domestic consumption. The chemicals used for synthesizing plastic inevitably leak into the contained water in the tank especially in the presence of light. Notice, if you drink water from a plastic bottle lying in a car for a couple of days, its taste invariably gets altered. This is due to the inherent problem in plastics called Leaching. Leaching itself leads to what we call in Toxicity in Plastics.
