The Jost's Electric Tow Truck is a Four-Wheel Battery Operated Material Handling Equipment used for towing load up to 8, 000 /10, 000 kg over long distances on asphalt or smooth concrete road. It is ideal for use in interplant transportation, factories, airports, railways and large processing plants. Jost's leads the way through its tough, dependable industrial towing trucks

Operator AreaErgonomically convenient operator's area provides operators comfort. All controls are located at easily accessible reach with ample leg room. Adjustable seat (optional) further enhances operator's comfort.

Drive And TransmissionEquipment is driven by an AC motor of suitable rating with class 'F' insulation powered by suitable battery capacity. Efficient power transmission is provided to rear wheels via noise free dual stage gear reduction unit and differential mechanism. Microprocessor based MOSFET controller enables smooth step less acceleration, variable speed control and precise inching movement. The controller comes with self-diagnostic feature which monitors the control system for fault diagnostic purposes. The controller also enables regenerative braking thereby increasing the battery utilisation period.

Operator AreaThe operator area is positioned with respect to ground level so that operator can step-in and step-out easily. Ergonomically positioned backrest, easy-to-reach tiller handle and optimum leg-spacing in the operator area provides smooth and comfortable operation. The checkered plate provides good grip to the operator. It further prevents the operator to slip during acceleration, deceleration, and turning. The Emergency stop button provides maximum safety to the operator.

Drive And Transmission1.5 kW high-performance AC motor of 1-hour rating with high towing load capacity efficiently drives a low noise, two stage compact gear unit mounted directly on the drive wheel.

Operator AreaComfortable seat (with backrest ergonomically) is positioned over battery cover to provide easy reach to the steering handle .Seat has optimum leg-space (with suitable footrest) so that accelerator and brakes can be easily accessed. The control switches on the panel are easily visible and accessible.

Drive And TransmissionEquipment is driven by an DC/AC motor of suitable rating with class 'F' insulation and is powered by suitable traction battery. The two-stage ( selfcontained completely enclosed ) transmission gear unit transmits the power efficiently. It is coupled with the motor shaft on one side and is directly fitted on the front wheel on other side
