V. Indicator for medical applications Water Technology Centre, IARI, PUSA, NEW DELHI Wireless operation of tube-well pumps on sensing the water level in the roots of plants. Newly developed Tensiometer duly integrated with Level sensor has been interfaced with GSM Transmitter. As the level of water / moisture goes below the permissible limits, an SMS has been generated by GSM Transmitter & sends to GSM Receiver which is interfaced with Bore-well Pump starter. On receiving the “Start” command, Pump is running thru a Countdown Timer. The time of running the pump should be kept variable as it depends on various field factors. Anti-Theft Device for Jewellery “ANRIL” Centralized Security Controller is one of the most efficient security solution for display merchandising. When the item being moved away from its location, an alarm will continually remains ON. On pressing the ‘OFF’ Push Button of the Device or Remote, the alarm gets deactivated while on relocating the sensor to the product, Centralized Controller gets activated. Anti-Theft Device for Mobiles, Laptops, etc. “ANRIL” Single Piece Controller Alarming security tag is one of the most efficient security solution for display merchandising. When the lanyard cut off or the alarm Sensor moved away, the LED with continually flash red light and the alarm will continually alarm. ANRIL can easily be interfaced with any number of outputs. The device can functions effectively & efficiently with any type of jewellery items. Each output’s alarm is governed with a “Bypass Switch”. In case of moving the item from its location, alarm system can be bypassed by manual switch provided on the box itself. Northern Railway (NDLS Station): For controlling the water wastage at NDLS Station, we had installed Motorised Valve on the pipeline used for filling the water tank of coaches & given a Hand-held Remote to the Valve-man. As the train approaches platform, on operating “ON” button, it opens the valve & vice-versa. Its working principle is GSM based communication. Northern Railway [Nirvana (Jind, Haryana) Station]: Pumps are made remotely controlled (GSM based) with displaying the amount of water in litres. Pump is 4 Kms away from water Tank. Pump starts & stops on sensing the level of water tank. As the level goes down, an SMS send to the receiver installed at pump starter triggers the pump. While stops on receiving SMS of stop. The Legend (Residential Society, Gurgaon): There are 12 towers in the society & each tower has one overhead water tank. All the tanks are being feed thru 2 sets of pumps. If any tank gets empty, pump will start & continues to run until all the tanks gets filled up. Motorised Valve is used to control the flow of water in the tanks. First time GSM system is used for this kind of application. Common Level Indicator is also installed for identifying the tank for which pump is running. Milk ATM (Any Time Milk Machine, Mother Dairy): Milk ATM Machine is a unique machine which operates on RFID Card system & it doesn’t require any operator for its operation. All the parameters of machine are remotely monitored & controlled. There are few models depending on the optional facilities required. Rotation Bin System (Minda Huf, Noida): For reducing / eliminating the problem of component mixing & missing, we had designed & developed a Rotation Bin System. Compressed Air Saving (Sona Steering, Gurgaon): Compressed Air is used to inspect the I.D. of machined holes. Our Motion Sensors are mounted on the machines interfaced with the valves. As the operator reaches for inspection on the machine itself, it opens the valve otherwise remains closed. 50 machines are working on this principle. Digital Fuel Gauge (DRDO, Arjun Tank): Digital Fuel Gauge has been designed & developed for Arjun Tank. Its uniqueness lies in its operation. There are 6 fuel tanks & our Fuel Gauge displays total volume in all 6 tanks with individual tank volume display in scroll manner. Unfortunately, it is not being supplied. Repairing of VFD Drive (Delhi Metro): We had repaired the VFD Drive of KONE make elevators installed in the Delhi Metro stations. KONE didn’t have repair centre in India in 2008 & it costs a lot on getting the new one. Drive Type Level Sensor (Bahadurgarh): It has been installed in the chemical tank of a company at Bahadurgarh. It gives digital display of level with an accuracy of 1mm. It is being installed in 2 tanks. Level Indicator (Defence Project):We are supplying a customized Level Indicator to a Defence Project & it is being supplied by us only. More than 1500 systems has been installed in the last 3 years. Online Monitoring (GPRS) of Pumps (HUDA): This is one of its kind. We configured the device & develop it for the customized requirement of HUDA project. They want to monitor with any Laptop or PC, even they are out of station. We had develop its software part for providing them as a Web Service, so that their device’s data can be remotely accessed from our server. Remote Switching of Vacuum Circuit Breakers: It has been introduced first time to remote switching of Vacuum Circuit Breakers. An economical device has been developed with two options, a) triggered via dialing & b) thru SMS. It will confirm its operation by return feedback thru SMS. I. V. Indicator cum Alarm System (Nigeria): We have developed an innovative & patented device, I. V. Indicator. It has been specifically designed for a Nigerian Scientist. It gives visible & audible indication as the I. V. Bottle gets empty & during blockage. STP Limited, Jamshedpur: RF Based Level Controllers are successfully operating for controlling the level of Molten Coal Tar. 2 nos systems had been installed & working perfectly. The Legend (Residential Society, Gurgaon): A new design of level sensors had been installed at the premises. We had modified the design of Magnetic Float Type Level sensor. For protecting the level sensor probe from the water hardness effect, we had attached an SS Ball that remains in contact with water & the sensing or movement part remains untouched with water.
