JK manufactures these efficient machines for butt-welding of all profile wire of Iron, Steel, Alloy and Carbon Steel, Copper, Aluminum, Brass and other light metals and their alloys.
These machines are designed as portable models mounted on a moveable stand with the foot operation. They are constructed with particular regard for quick and easy operating; the settings for electrode spacing and upsetting pressure are calibrated directly for the different wire size to be welded. The welding process being automatics permits even unskilled workman to operate the machines faultlessly, and ensures uniform welds of high tensile strength, capable of withstanding subsequent drawing.
Depending upon the material to be welded and the size wire four different models are available one model for iron and mild steel wire, one model for alloyed steel and carbon steel, and two for copper, brass, alluminium and light alloy wires. All machines are equipped with annealing facility.

DESIGN:The Spot cum projection Welding passes a high current at low Voltage through the electrodes to the welding areas. As the machine cycles, exert pressure on the metal, a joint is formed and coalescence occurs. All the parameters are precisely controlled: Pressure by the air regulator. Time by electronic circuit and Current by transformer taps to perfect welding joint.
SALIENT FEATURES:Six models between 30 KVA to 200KVA.All operational controls-Air, Water and Electronics are machine mounted for easy access, Safe and Simple maintenance.Study ram assembly permits high speed operation.Weld sequence controller, sophisticated timer with squeeze, weld hold and offTiming with single/repeat cycle facility, weld timing being controlled by Thyristorized circuit heat controlled from 5% to 95%

J. K. Weldintroduced for the benefit of the entire wire processing industries a series of Micro Butt Welding Machines specially designed for butt welding of ferrous and non ferrous wires in the range of 3.0 to 2.50 mm dia, to withstand subsequent drawing. This machines are designed as table models and constructed with particular regard for easy operation. The automatic welding process guarantees high tensile and uniform weld, depending upon the material to be welded and the size of wire, seven different models are available; four models for the welding of iron, steel and nickel wires and two models for the welding of Copper, Brass, Bronze and Aluminum wires. Shearing device and illuminated magnifier are available as standard option extras.
WELDING PROCESSthese micro butt welders are automatic upset butt welding machines. The ends of wires to be joined are "prepared" on the special shearing attachment provided. The welding current and the initial upset gap are set accordingly to the size of wire, the upsetting pressure being preset at works. The wire ends are then rigidly clamped by special quick acting clamps and viewed through an illuminated magnifying glass provided, to ensure correct alignment of the wire ends. By depressing a push button, the welding cycle is initiated and completed automatically by built in control. The weld is completed; the job is no de-clamped and annealed if necessary in the annealing.
