Our Products
We are manufacturing Induced draft Cooling Tower in RCC Construction also both in Cross Flow and Counter Flow design. Since the structure of Cooling Tower is complete with RCC, the tower life will be more than timber as well as FRP.
All other internal fills and Drift Eliminators are PVC / TIMBER as like other Cooling Towers. Spiral Bevel Gear Boxes are used in RCC Cooling Towers. The ranges of our RCC Cooling towers are 500M3 to 3000M3 /Cell. Higher capacities are available in multi cell construction.
For detailed Brochure, technical & dimensional details along with quotation can be obtained from our marketing department on request.

We provide uniquely designed RCC Cooling Tower. The RCC 3 cell Cooling Tower offered by us is designed to provide high efficiency. This tower is made from pre-stressed and pre-cast structural components, which reduces the time of construction. We are regarded as one of the principal RCC Cooling Tower Manufacturers and Exporters in India.
Available in two designs :FRP Round Type Cooling Towerbelongs to the Counter-Flow Bottle Shaped Cooling towers. Our FRP Round Type Cooling Tower has features such as rotating sprinklers to distribute the hot water uniformly, compact design for space saving, etc. Also, FRP Round Type Cooling Tower consumes low-power, makes low-noise and produces low vibration. Also, we make it available at affordable prices.
Available with the Cooling Capacity Range of 3TR to 700 TR
Highlights
The FRP/ Natural traditional Cooling Towers are called as Fanless or Fill less Cooling Towers because in this model no fan or fill is used to cool the water.
In Timber atmospheric / Fan less Cooling tower , treated wooden louvers were used as the side wall of the Cooling Tower to restrict the water spillage and allow the outside wind passage to go inside the Cooling Tower and act as the Cooling media. Simply says, in Fan less Cooling Towers the Hot water will be sprayed in the top of the Cooling Tower with spray nozzles into small droplets like mists and the droplets are crossed with the atmospheric wind flow to get the water cooled. The same technique is used in FRP Fanless / Natural Draft / Fill less Cooling Towers. Instead of costly timber louvers, FRP louvers are used. This Fanless cooling towers are very economically operating Cooling Tower. Since there is no fan or electric motor, there is no huge operating or maintenance cost involved in this Cooling Tower. And also in Energy efficiency point of view, this is the best Payback Cooling Tower when comparing with other models.
And also very low noise operated Cooling Tower. The noises of other model cooling towers are due to Fan, Motor, Gear box and Drive shaft and its vibrations only. Since these models of Cooling Towers are not having Fan, motor, Gear boxes, this equipment has no trouble-some of noise and vibration.
Method / Type | Fanless / Natural Draft | Fan Motor Type |
---|---|---|
Sound free design | Since no fan, motor and gear box it is low noise Cooling Tower than any other low noise type Cooling Tower. | Since fan, motor and gear boxes are used, high noise and vibration |
Method of Cooling | Exhausting is enforced by Cooling water ejection and not by mechanical force. | Cooling exhausted with the help of induced or forced draft fan motor and gear reducers. |
Drift loss and dust control | It keeps the drift loss between 0.001% and 0.009% depends on ejection pressure, water loss is 95% less than of traditional tower | More dust possibilities and more drift losses than Fanless towers because Fan motor force is there. |
Vibration Level | No vibration | Higher vibration and vibration proof and control are required |
Internals and Structures | No costly structurals and no internals like fills, etc., | Heavy type structurals is required being motor system is used and Cooling is achieved only by using internal fills. |
Power Consumption | No fan is required, but higher pumping head is required. But overall power consumption will be very less than that of Fan operated towers | Small pumping head but Fan operation power consumption will be more |
Operating & maintenance Cost | All the tower parts are non-moving parts and anticorrosive. No power or consumables required. | Electrical motor maintenance and consumables are unavoidable. |
Pultruded FRP based cooling towers have structures having proven Braced Frame Design. These structures are connected to the ground with steel angles and base plates anchored and grouted to the basin. Hardware used at all the places are stainless steel. No piers and pilasters are used in the structure. Frame, Casing, Fan deck, Fan cylinder, staircase, railing, light poles, ladders etc are all of FRP. Wherever necessary anti skid surfacing is used for safety of Operation and Maintenance personnels.
The cell size that can be been designed is 18x18 meters and is capable to handle fan motor power 250 HP/cell. The flow rate capacity of the Pultruded FRP Cooling Towers can range from 500 m3/hr to 40000 m3/hr.
ICTMCo. offers field erected Pultruded FRP cooling towers. These cooling towers are designed using Pultruded FRP sections, FRP sheets for cladding, Stainless steel for fasteners and other hardwares. Properties of Pultruded FRP gives the cooling tower distinct advantages over other material of construction like concrete or timber. Engineering at ICTM CO. gives shape to the finest of cooling towers whose aesthetic beauty make cooling tower area very special place in the plant. The strength of Pultruded FRP can be compared with that of steel. With FRP the question does not stop at performance but carries on to beauty and aesthetics. With wide range of colours to choose from, the colour of cooling tower can be matched to rest of the plant. No wonder when ever a timber cooling tower reaches its end of its life, there is always a demand to convert it to Pultruded FRP cooling tower.
For large field erected cooling tower Pultruded FRP structural members are used for constructing the cooling tower. Pultrusion is an industrial process that is dedicated to continuously process Reinforced Plastic having constant cross sectional shape like I, C, U, H, flat panels etc. Reinforcing fibers are pulled through a Plastic liquid impregnation bath through rollers etc. and then through a shaping die followed with a curing action. It produces products which meets high structural requirements, high weight to strength performances, electric requirements etc. In case of Pultruded FRP Cooling Towers materials are shipped to the site and cooling tower is erected first by putting up the structural framework and then fan deck, torque tube, mechanical assembly, fills, casing sheets etc.
Wooden Cross Flow Type Cooling Tower is available in single Cell Cooling Capacity from 100 TR to 2000 TR. Our range of Cross Flow Type Cooling Tower including SFID (Single Flow Induced Draft) and DFID (Double Flow Induced Draft) Cooling Towers. In Cross Flow Type Cooling Tower the water flows vertically through the fills while the air flows horizontally across the flow of the falling water. Because of this, air does not have to pass through the distribution system, permitting the use of gravity flow hot water distribution basins mounted at the top of the unit above the fills.
Key Benefits
Major Components :
Structural columns shall be 3"x4", except for louver support columns which shall be 3"x6". Diagonals shall be 3"x4" and 4"x4" lumber. Framing girts may be 2"x4", except for those supporting the hot water basins and fill. Those girts shall be 2"x6" minimum.
Column Lines are kept on min. 4'-0" longitudinal centers, and the base of all perimeter columns shall be firmly anchored to galvanized steel base plates.
Fan cylinders are made of molded FRP. They are anchored to the fan deck structure to provide a consistently stable operating shroud for the fan. Fan cylinders less than 72" in height are equipped with a removable, hot dip galvanized steel fan guard for the protection of operating personnel.
Motors are located outside the fan cylinder at the fan deck, connected to the speed reducer by a tubular stainless steel, dynamically balanced driveshaft equipped with neoprene flexible coupling elements.
A galvanized oil gauge and drain line are provided from the gear reducer to the vicinity of the motor, and are equipped with a dip stick for oil level measurement.
