Conveyor Chain

Our product range contains a wide range of Attachment Chain, Accumulator Chain and Slat Conveyor Chain

Attachment Chain

Attachment Chains are specially designed for application and different designed attachments are attached to Bush Roller Chain and so named Attachment Chain. These chains are suitable for short conveying system. The plate of chain can be designed with hole, bended in angle or straight fitted to Rollers and Pin assembly. Material of construction for these chains can be Mild Steel, Stainless Steel and Carbon Steel etc. These Attachment Roller Chains are available in outboard roller, flange roller, double roller, Extended Pin type duly fitted with different type of integral and welded attachments( K1 , K2 , F1 , F2 , M1 , M2 , G1 , G2 , SA1 , SA2 etc. ) at certain calculated distance as per requirements. Drag Chain, Scrapper Chain, Apron Chain, Stainless Steel Drive Chain or Nickel & Zinc plated Attachment Conveyor Chains are commonly used and can be manufactured to withstand and resist wear in corrosive application environment

Features of Attachment Chain:

Due to the small pitch of these chains, the drive design is smaller.
Usually sprockets with a large number of teeth are used. Therefore, the chain speed does not vary significantly, and the chain engages with sprockets with less noise.
These chains may be used for high-speed conveyors.
A wide variety of standard attachments and special attachments are possible for this chain series.
Slip-fit, spring-clip type connecting links can be provided.

Accumulator Chain

Accumulator chains are employed, when the accumulation of piece goods during conveyance occurs or is required. They are usually envisaged for parallel-running operations. The simplest type is constructed in a way that it runs with lateral support rollers on a guide rail. During accumulation-free operation the piece goods on the conveyor rollers are transported with chain speed, whereas in case of an accumulation the chain will continue to run smoothly under the accumulated piece goods owing to its freely movable conveyor rollers. Rolling friction during accumulation leads to a slight impact pressure on the goods so that at the end of the accumulation transportation will continue easily and without delay. Depending on the required application we design & supply conveyor rollers with different diameters and different material of construction.

Accumulation chains can also be supplied in stainless steel, as MARATHON maintenance-free chains and in duplex or triplex designs. In case of a duplex design the roller distance is only half that of the simplex design since the conveyor rollers are staggered. For long conveyor distances lateral guide plates are recommended.

Sprockets for accumulator chains are used in conveying systems. As to their geometry they are perfectly matched to the characteristics of the chains. Both components are optimally linked and thus allow for an efficient and permanent operation of the plant.

Slat Conveyor Chain

Slat chain conveyors are another type of chain conveyor which uses many types of interleaving segments to form a slat type chain of either synthetic polymer or stainless steel construction, in either low friction or friction grip styles. They are used in high wear areas often handling individual packets or cans in can filling or bottling operations. They are also used extensively in food manufacturing applications. Heavy versions of the slat conveyors are often found in freight handling applications where loads and impact are quite high. Traditionally heavy slat conveyors are constructed using hardwood slats fixed onto parallel chains. Hinge Belt conveyor finds application in stamping sheet metal press shops to handle scrap at a moderate capacity. The conveyor frame can be open type made from heavy structural steel sections or closed type made from heavy gauge steel plates. Modular construction of the conveyor makes it possible to add or remove conveyor segments at a later date depending on requirement.
