Carboxy Methyl Tamarind Powder is specially developed for printing of polyester with disperse dyestuff followed by super-heated steam fixation (170 - 1800c). We provide Carboxy Methyl Tamarind Powder is vailable in quality packing but its good storage stability is achieved when it is kept in the unopened packing in a cool and dry place.

Specifications :

• (8% paste after complete hydration, measured by brookfield, spindle 6, 20 rpm 250c)
• Colour yield : cmt - 8 provides very good transfer of dyestuff to the fiber by conventional super-heated steam fixation process.  
• Preservation : cmt - 8 contains preservatives. The viscosity of the printing pastes and stock thickeners show good stability over a long period.

The preparation process of Tamarind Kernel Powder involves several stages, starting from proper grading of de-husked tamarind seeds to finally achieving bright creamy white tamarind kernel powder. Tamarind Kernel Powder forms uniform solution on heating with water while stirring. Maximum viscosity is usually obtained after boiling the dispersion for 20-30 min. A thick viscous dispersion gets formed that yield strong, transparent, elastic films on evaporation. Tamarind polysaccharide, because of its unique properties i.e. low viscosity and low molecular weight compared to many other polysaccharide & its property of forming gel at high sugar concentrations have found numerous new applications.
